    Those are awesome, Schmiddie! :goodjob:

The Bartender/Distiller will be making an appearance in M:C for sure.

How difficult is it to port units from Civ 5 into Col? I have made a few steps like downloading the Civ5 sdk to look into this but I have not really pursued it much yet.

Are there any tutorials yet on how to do this? I would love to have the Settler units ported into Col as they would make excellent new models for Masters and Experts.

It needs a lof of work to Import a unit mesh from Civ5 into blender and via blender to a complete new unit working with Civ4:Col and you need some programms to do that.

However, there are some nice tutorials which you can use how import a unit mesh from Civ5 into blender (the second part - from blender to a working Civ4:Col unit is nothing new and you find further tutorials in the Civ4 modding subforum):

    Hi Folks,

today I would like to share some "early" units with you.

I have prepared 6 further units which could be used for the early era's in colonization:

    - Great General
    - Arquebusier
    - Musketman
    - Rifleman
    - Cannon
    - Light Cannon

The "early units pack" comes along with the correct animations, city management graphics and buttons, so that you can easily implement them in your mods.

Furthermore the units (except the musketman) use "teamcolor", so that you can use them for more than one nation.

Feel free to use the units in your mod and to give feedback if you find a mistake or problem with the units (I have just tested them a little bit ingame).

    Hi Folks,

I have made another new model:

It is based on the "ship of the line" model of Civ 5 and uses the "man_o_war" animation of colonization:

It looks a little bit similar to the man-o-war of colonization, but the model has more details and is bigger than the original... :)

    Hi Folks,

I have made another new model:

It is a model of a 74 cannon ship of the line (3rd class).

It is based on the "frigate" model of Civ 5. The model uses the "man-o-war" animation of colonization:

Here ist the link for download: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=23095

Hope you like it. Feel free to use it in your mod!

This is the last ship model extracted from Civ 5 since Civ 5 has no further units of this era.

    Regards

    Schmiddie
