You bet really?
One day you will try.
Too random can mean, too unbalanced. In my last Byzanz game, I was lucky to found 5 cities on a crowded continent, while others were only able to found 3 or 4. With the discovery of compass I discovered 2 civs which were sitting on 2 separated continents, each founded 10 cities. I've won this, but it wasn't that funny to see that in first place.
speaking in the case of multiplayer, I agree + I will add, adding too much resource break one of the most core game play in multiplayer : politics and relation, since every one have everything's, why would you care about your relation with others?
Edit: I Highly recommend world simulator, it's the best modded map I've ever seen, I always use it
Just making sure, do you mean Planet Simulator? Yeah, I like that one too, together with Tectonic and Perfectworld3.
YEAH yeah "planet simulator"^^ thanks for the correction xD
Only big issue I have with Communitas is how common it is to randomly end up in the middle of a massive mountain chain as someone like Rome, and then missing your entire military timing because you literally cannot locate another enemy by land. Current game I had to wait until howitzers to take Greece's capital because it was literally sandwiched on all sides by hills and mountains so I could not possibly fire on the capital without indirect fire.
But despite the weird terrain issues occasionally, I think the script is fine. It does tend to be very bonus resource heavy, but I'm not complaining too much.
Hey Gazebo, I have just had a CTD after spreading religion with missionary. Link to report on Github: https://github.com/LoneGazebo/Community-Patch-DLL/issues/5180
Please let me know if this is something more I can do to highlight the issue (e.g. upload files etc.)
Thanks for support and great work!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I see the promotion viewer?
I think someone mentioned it in the previous version already, but the AI seem to be very lazy in settling. In my current game (Standard, Oval with normal settings), there is:
3 city progress Assyria, 3 city progress Arabia, 3 city authority Aztecs, 3 city tradition Germany.
Every of them has atleast enough space for 2 big city spots, or even more.
AFTER 103 TURNS!
Come on, guys, current Communitas map is improved over the older version. Since this map was delivered with the mod from the beginning, it was deserved.
Thank you for the report. Noted, replicated, and fixed. Will hotfix this evening.
There should be an icon in the top-right corner, looks like a chevron.
I don't see this issue, most likely just an outlier.
4 from 7 AI civs is an outliner?
Enrico Swagolo already seems to see the same, he posted something similar in the previous version thread:
Two games, oh nooooo.
Hotfix posted for @Avendis CTD. Savegame compatible. (2-17-2).
I think sentiment is the term you're looking for.
Next game turn 100:
2 city authority england, 3 city progress denmark, 3 city progress china, 3 city tradition Celts and Russia..... 5 outliner out of 8 AI?
Does this heavy needs deficiency look normal after only 26 turns? Looks a bit harsh to me.
AI China does very poorly in my current game. Was the nerf too hard?
One game's not a good enough sample - for example, in 3 games back-to-back nerfed China won a Culture victory around 1900.
