What about separate Pyramid wonders? I mean, they weren't all built at once. Or maybe it would be best to have it as one wonder.
Olympics

All these wonders seem nice, but there is finite space to put wonders into the game. I would like a few more, but completely flooding the game would either throw out game balance (if the wonders weren't nerfed), or would make wonders redundant (if they were nerfed).

There are people working in very good mod (or modmods), increasing the tech tree substantially and including a lot of new wonders (different of these ones mentioned). The mods are very good and balanced.

Searche, for example, in this forum the Rise of Mankind mod. It´s a very good job, and incresas the number of civilizations, civs, religions, buildings, resources, units, techs and even some new concepts.

Its a good start to make a new Civ V, better, bigger and with thes new world wonders suggested.

On one hand, I like the idea of a plethora of wonders to choose from; on the other, neither nerfing wonders nor allowing them to become redundant sounds desirable, so I propose that wonders be broken into three categories:

1. Static wonders that are present in every game and can be built by one civilization (for world wonders) or by each nation once (for national wonders)--this is the current model.

2. Pairs (or triads) of wonders that are exclusionary of the others, if built. In other words, I can choose to build the Smokey the Bear wonder or the Woodsy Owl wonder, but not both. Furthermore (for world wonders), once either of these wonders is built, the other is no longer available even though it hasn't been built (i.e., if Spain builds Smokey, then no one else can build Smokey [obviously] or Woodsy). Think of a counterpart to the Great Wall that makes it more likely for a Great General to emerge for wars fought *outside* your borders, instead of inside (yes, this would need to be balanced). Both world and national wonders could be built in this way.

3. Dynamic wonders, which are either randomly chosen (by the computer) to be available in a particular game, or which only become available if certain conditions are met, or both. For example. perhaps The Sphinx only becomes available (or has a chance to become available) if a civilization has built the Pyramids and is running the Slavery civic.

The benefit to this suggestion then is that a large variety of wonders can be included in the game in general, but only a reasonable subset would be available in a specific instance of the game. The downside is that the developers would have to spend more time making certain that the program can balance the dynamic / random elements with the static ones.

Yeah, it's perfectly fine (and in fact really good) if it goes with a general enlargement of Civ. But ceteris paribus, more wonders could damage balance.

Hey guys.

I understand your point of view.

I just would like to insist. The mods for civ iv - beyond the sword , developed until this moment includes a lot of new resources so the wonder added aren't redundant and the is very well balanced.

I suggest you to search in this forum the rise of mankind and others mods developed.
