    Hi EEE
    I'm in :)
I know that you want to take Venice. I also do like this civ, but IMHO it's early for me to play in MP for the civ which is difficult to develop strategically.
So I'd like to choose Morocco (I hope it's desert biased civ).

However, I'll be able to start taking my turns after 12 July, because I don't possess BNW yet.

Thanks:), I thought you said in the other thread that Venice is hard, but if you really want to play Venice, I can play other civ.
Edit: you can join civ in GMR now, as I don't have BNW either until 13th so take your time if you want to change.

I do really think that Venice shines only at hands of very proficient MP players. So I pick Morocco.

Please don't  I am by no means, and willing to get crippled miserably.

Edit: any one else wants to play Venice, I'm happy to change.

Assyria was clearly too OP for you tab. You are more at an ottoman or american level.

Let's see if Tab can make the weirdo Indonesia work, there must be some hidden power of Kris waiting to be unleashed by this civ.

Now we have 11 players, map size changes to large or stays standard?

My opinion is still standard, but reduce CS to 18 or 16. as there are new world land often neglected by players if expanding into 4 cities is easy and enough in a large map. Standard map makes liberty settler more attractive, also early honor more appealing. But one can also argue that standard map benefit Venice more, which is my civ of choice. Opinions?

    Yeah i subscribed.

I heard some nice but also bad stories about Kris swordmen. I think it's almost purely luck based(free promos UA).

The UA is not bad after all. If i can find a little chunk of land behind me at optics i can do somthing useful.

I vote for the large map.
The common continent in Terra map is usually rather small. It barely lets civs found 4 cities in good places without stepping on someone's boot.
Standard sized Terra for 11 players will certainly cause nearly total war from the beginning of the game. In this case only half of the initial number of civs survives to Printing Press to take part in the World Congress.
Also we have France and Brazil which are supposed to play for rather peaceful cultural game. And some other civs as Shoshone or religion-based Arabia may be inclined to develop for the semi-wide empire rather than use 4 city Tradition strategy.

You are right. What about CS then, still 20 or 22? or less, Venice will probably remove several.

As the Brazil leader, I am all up for huge maps.

Also, dont forget that its quite easy to win a cultural game if you destroy everyone else ;)

I think that mainly Portugal (by building fuitorias) and Venice will compete for the city-states. I vote for 22 CSs.
