The group I played civ with wanted a true “Old World → New World” experience built for multiplayer where we all started on the same starting continent.
This mod adds three new map scripts and adds a "New World" ensuring there’s still a meaningful, discoverable and uncolonized frontier to fight over, settle, and exploit.

Let me know if you have any feedback or other ideas to make maps that are more multiplayer friendly for a group that wants the "exploration" experience but also wants to all start together.

New World Plus
- Description: Creates a historically-inspired map experience with a populated New World, based on the civ developer's new continents algorithm. No starting positions will be in the new world.
- How it plays: Everyone starts on a large landmass (Homeland); with a second large landmass becoming the New World to race for.
New World Diverse
- Description: Creates a highly diverse map experience with an untamed New World.
- How it plays: High-variance coastlines, bold shapes, and a clean separation between worlds.
New World Continents
- Description: “Two nearby homeland continents connected by shallow water (1-3 tiles), with a distant unpopulated New World.”
- How it plays: You get early diplomacy and naval pressure across the strait, then a second phase where the New World becomes the prize.
