One spot SW
2f 2p base plus the 3-2-1 fur spot to start looks pretty nice.
I want to go to the Jungle Hill to the SW and settle. That means, barring complications, my next two settlements can be West of the Gypsum and East of the Bananas and both be riverside. Should be a good, compact start.
My thoughts exactly!
I will be starting this game tonight .... have never done a culture victory, I need to read up on that through Victoria's guide first.
Short guide for standard map (this game)
100 culture = 1 domestic tourist (accumulates over time)
For you to get 1 tourism point you need 1200 tourism points and you have 7 civilisations to get that from.
Once an enemy civ is getting 100 culture per turn it means you are in for a longer game.
Until you start getting things like tourism bonus cards and computers the tourism number on your main screen is basically what is applied + 25% for a trade route - 3x standard government multiplier for a different government... many civs will take monarchy/theocracy.
After the Nubian DLC released I'll start playing this map.
Updated! Let's do this! I think I will go for traditional cultural start rather than expansion through war.
Patch and DLC are here. Ready to go....
Can someone tell me what differences are there (in the AI starting settlers and units or etc.) between deity and immortal?
With the newest patch I think everyone can significantly improve their performance. I myself improved for ~20Turns!
