Some interesting BtS BOTM 148 Results:

Congratulations to neilmeister on his fourth eptathlete. Last game he missed by 64 points. This time it wasn't close.

Usually, a player secures both fastest finish and lowest score by being the only player with that victory condition.
This time kcd_swede (Domination, four entries) and Noble Zarkon (Religious, two entries) managed it with competition.
hhhawk took silver missing fastest dom by only 15 years (3 turns?).
Ronnie1 won the bronze medal with a religions victory only 70 years (7 turns?) after NZ.
Similarly, 70 years separated Kime11 and UB40 Conquest victories.
babybluepants got both Diplomacy awards the old fashioned lonely way.
DynamicSpirit managed to finish in time for another fastest space, while Igetvassaledalot got low score space with his very first gotm submission. Welcome :band:

I'm pleased that all victory conditions were achieved and 14 players made it to the end (12 victories) on this large map. Thanks also for the submission of 2 incompletes.
Only LinkDinkin and terminator3k failed to get any awards.

    Summary of Medal Winners:

neilmeister: 1804 AD Domination Victory, 300,925 points.

hhhawk: 1720 AD Domination Victory, 237,471 points.

    Ronnie1: 1490 AD Religious Victory, 189,926 points.

    Fastest Finish Award Winners:

    kcd_swede: 1705 AD Domination Victory, 145,084 points.

    Kime11: 1818 AD Conquest Victory, 122,323 points.

babybluepants: 1080 AD Diplomatic Victory, 96,884 points.

DynamicSpirit: 1862 AD Spaceship Victory, 77,538 points.

Noble Zarkon: 1420 AD Religious Victory, 26,820 points.

    Other Award Winners:

    UB40: 1888 AD Conquest Victory, 79,947 points.

Igetvassaledalot: 1921 AD Spaceship Victory, 19,161 points.

    MarleysGh0st: 1959 AD Spaceship Loss, 4,276 points.

donsig: 1972 AD Spaceship Loss, 3,246 points.

    Everyone wisely settled in place.

    The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

Congrats to all the winners and especially neil! :goodjob:

This was a really fun map, Deckhand. It was nice to be able to REX peacefully for once.

Yay... I have been trying to get that Gold for a little while, very happy to get it done. Congrats to all other winners.

I was actually going for a space victory, I had already launched (or was about to, I cant remember) but I accidentally tripped domination. I had already given away 6-7 cities, but obviously needed to give away one more.

Gosh, fastest space? I'm surprised. Knowing how many mistakes I made, I was expecting someone to beat me by at least 100 years or so! Not that I'm complaining, mind :D

Well done, everyone. That was a very fun game. Totally agree with babybluepants about it being nice to expand peacefully.
