This was the Christmas special on the icy landscape. And first up, congratulations to @Zhary, whose 1500 AD fastest religious victory brings him a 3rd eptathlete award!
And a second special mention to @Xcalibrator for being the only person to dare attempt the deity challenger save - and getting the cow award for - basically, biggest empire - in the process.
Most of a relatively large crowd of players managed to win this game, with @nocho getting the gold medal for a 1330 AD conquest win, but getting beaten by @Powerfaker for the fastest conqust - 1280 AD. @Tonny secured fastest domination (1240 AD) and the silver medal - an impressive feat considering this was only Tonny's 2nd ever BOTM entry - and the previous one was over a year ago. @WastinTime got the fastest diplo win in 1200 AD - a very fast date for diplo - even beating our fastest religious eptathlete! Fastest culture went to @Jovan Kukic, but with a 1705 AD date, I don't think we can do any boasting there ;-)
And why did no-one go for space (except possibly @greatbeyond, who sadly didn't win).
