This was a well-fought game. Unsurprisingly for a game with all the civs together on a crowded landmass, military victories dominated. There were some amazingly high final scores – shulec taking the gold with a 1490 domination victory and a final score of 338038., Jovan Kukic and Conquistador 63 taking the other two medals. euripedes, with a 1350AD religious victory was the only player in the top 10 results who won by anything other than domination.

However there were few really early victories, possibly due to the large number of AIs to be conquered. evil spock, with the fastest domination award, was at 660AD one of only a couple of players who secured pre-1000AD victories.

Special congratulations to neilmeister with his 1525AD cultural victory – beating jesusin by just one turn and in the process becoming a Civ eptathlete!

Here's where everyone settled. And what an amazingly adventurous lot you all were this time! I think Tachywaxon should get a special award for - umm - not being a sheep ;)

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

I'm a sheep, happy to admit it. :) The start tile was just too good to pass up.

Yay, my BtS eptathlon.... Thanks to jesusin & Tachy for a hard fought Cultural game.

Special congrats to shulec, who has broken his run of 4th places by taking gold by 184 points.

Good work, neilmeister, hard-fought and well-earned!

Nice space win Jastrow, even if you didn't think it was a stellar performance, it wasn't an easy Victory Condition on this map!

Good job, IvanTheFearsome and euripides, on the double awards! It wasn't an easy map on which to keep the neighbours happy (unless you had Pacal get two early Religions for you, making the rest of the world primarily Buddhist), and the lack of competition for those awards doesn't diminish your victories!

shulec, you had some stiff competition from top players, so you should feel proud of your medal!

Yeah... It might be a by default medal more than anything, since very few went for it... In any event, as I said in the spoiler, it just "felt" a bit slow, despite the fact that I think I played reasonable, so perhaps it is just intrinsic to the map/traits.

Wow, this result is amazing! I must say I myself was surprised by the religious victory, and now I´m also the only one ;-) Well, also no conquests there, seems the map went quite similar to most players plans.
It was more a religionation victory, being 5 turn off dom/conquest on the same turn.
Some of the victory dates show amazing early warmongering: evil_spock at 660AD and Jovan kukic at 800AD. I didnt even have half the map then, wow! Big respect there.

Congratulations to the winners.

Well done, neilmeister!
