In game number 173 of the classic game of the month series, you will rule as General Hannibal over the Carthaginians, who are Seafaring and Industrious and start the game with the knowledge of Alphabet and Masonry. This is a Regent game with no sponsored victory condition. The Carthaginian unique unit is the Numidian Mercenary, a Spearman with stronger attack and defence.

In the starting location, the capital would block a long coastline without being able to use it. 1N leaves some of it free and allows irrigation of the Wines tile. Moving further inland allows full coastline access. Hm...

Perhaps you can see something better moving the worker 1N first. But I doubt about so settler the same way.
