I think 2 tao refugees is not enough to make a team, so if no one else signs on, I'm free to be moved into another team if that becomes necessary. If any of you unallocated want to join us, you are welcome, I see a few regular SG teammates of mine among that group.

Not quite.

As I understand it, an MTDG is a multi-player game where each team plays one of the Civs, and the game save is passed from team to team.

An SGOTM is a Single Player Succession Game, played by several teams in parallel. Each team starts from a separate copy of the same start file, and each team member plays a set of turns in succession. When the games are finished or retired, we compare the performances of the teams, and award laurels for the winning team. GOTM rules apply, so no replaying is allowed within a team, and only the active player is allowed to play forward from the latest team save.

It looks like we get a decent number of players gradually.

Some seem to be buried quite deeply but finally kreep out of their crypts attracted by the waxing moon (full tonight) ...

We have 25 players. Spooks are also presumably still waiting for their unnamed ringer to show up. I think that means we have to run with four teams of six->seven players. Five teams would spread our resources too thin.

I propose the following:

If greatbeyond and TheOverseer714 want to stay together, we could merge teams tao and klarius. That makes three teams of five and one team of six, plus four unassigned players. The unassigned players could then each be added to one of the four named teams. this produces the following draft team lists:

Does anyone have any issues with this, or alternative suggestions?

No issues from me. I will be following Klarius' thoughts so closely he'll think I'm his shadow. Someday perhaps the student can at least be in the same arena as the master.

Hi all!

Day late and ... well a day late anyway. Considering I've been off the forums for so long, I feel lucky that this is only the second SGOTM I'll miss.

Sad that our team has been dissolved. Goodluck fellow former Smurkz Commando Bob!

Consider me registered as an official lurker for the Spooks team. (so selected because it's a smaller team that might need a sub, and I've liked Più Freddo writeups in the GOTM threads )

I'm fine with the teams listed. I think 6-7 team members make sense, considering how often RL intervenes.
