SGOTM 24 - Sitting Bull, Defender of the Trees

Every team managed to defend the nature against the greed of the industrial AI(and your own economical intrests). Green peace would be proud of all of you:).

Turbo Ants grabs the gold again with a religious victory 13 turns ahead of the Dancing bears. They danced around the world and won by domination before team nostalgias bronze laurel religious victory.

"Nice try but no cigar" awards go to Unusual Suspects who won Domination by 1540AD.

The "wooden spoon" goes to the last team Xteam who managed to get a last minute win with the last submitted victory.

    Well played everybody.

Challenging game. Well played by the laurel winners.

Appreciate your efforts to make this happen, Zhary.

Well done everybody, and congratulations to the winners. Was interesting to follow the progress from afar as a lurker :)

Is the next one in the pipeline already, or will it be postponed to over the summer and its holidays?

(Btw, shouldn't the Roman numeric value on the awards be 24 instead of 23? /pedantic)

Thanks to AlanH / Zary for the game.

This was my 5th SG and also my 5th Wooden Spoon - no one will want me on their team next time (although I also have two bronze laurels in that time)!

Thanks for a great game and congratulations to all the laurel winners.

@ Noble - Some teams play to get the wooden spoon. Other teams just end up with it be it laurel winners or a slow finishing team. You just have a natural talent. I have won 2 wooden spoons now. Been playing these games since SGOTM 9. Not sure who has the record for wooden spoons? Maybe not a topic for this thread. :)
