In unconfirmed reports, Domestic Advisor Mary Blandish was fired today by civilization player Alessandro Di Sciascio.

When asked to comment, Di Sciascio stated "I was annoyed that the new folks at Firaxis had hired this pushover chick. My military advisor was pissed... and I quote: >>if you're going to hire a chick, then she could at least have been cute!<<"

Blandish's position was immediatelly advertised in the local newspaper "The Photoshop Cronicles" and word has it that one Presley, Elvis has applied for the job.

The photo we were able to take isn't conclusive and clearly Mr. Presley at this time is still suffering of a mild case of the purple fringes, but analysts said "select based on color, invert selection then cut" ... whatever that means.

At this time it's our estimation that Di Sciascio is having to purchase wardrobe for the different eras for Mr. Presley, and he should be starting his new job very soon.

Elvis Presley is the performer songwriter that some think is dead.

Mr. Di Sciascio is the author of the "Wonders with info" pictures that apparently make the wonder pictures at least useful. You can find those on this site.

Actually I can't take credit for any huge accomplishment. You should thank Firaxis for making pretty much every picture in the game available as a PCX instead of hiding it in a DLL somewhere

That makes it orders of magnitude easier to modify the game as I'm doing with the advisors and as I've done with the wonder pictures, and as others have already done with terrain and other stuff.

To answer your question, YES the people heads could be changed. There's nothing stopping one from doing so. I looked at them and was trying to figure out HOW to change them, meaning not in a technical sense "how do I do it" but "what do I change them to" ?

There isn't THAT much space to work with and you gotta get a lot of detail in there.

And I still haven't exactly figured out how they're used in the game (meaning which ones are ancient, modern etc.... happy unhappy...) I guess that's why you would want to have them changed... you can't tell either

I can't make any promises... maybe someone else will grab this ball and run with it.

But I can promise that I'll do my best to bring elvis back. I'm currently looking for more photos... browse browse browse
