I voted WoW, if rules of the game are not "too Confusing/complicated" I'd like to join that. I like fantasy and Science-fiction themes in everything so that is the reason :P

I prefer to leave real "history" to those who know it more than I do, I still have a "soft spot" for history but I cannot recall how many troops fought in certain battle using my own knowledge, so I'll just leave discussions to those who can :P

Just so you guys know the Red Alert 2 NES wouldn't be anything like the command and conquer series. No tesla coils or dolphins, etc. Its an alt-hist where Hitler and Germany never rose, with the USSR starting WW2 in the early 50s.

You are quick to judge Azale, bombshoo, carmen510, Charles Li, Crezth, e350tb, EQandcivfanatic, erez87, Fëanor, Ninja Dude, silver 2039, Supermath, Tyrion, and Warhead!

I double my vote for WoW: all those countries will FALL to THE SCOURGE.

Why pick on me? Warman had noted this himself not a few posts previous!

I actually am not interested in following what happened in the games to the dot. I'm just interested in involving myself in the struggle between those Evil Commies and Capitalist Pigs. :p

There is a middle way in Red Alert 2 based on democratic socialism...

I remember that Red Alert was not based on the game so my vote stands.

Bah! That's for silly fence sitters.:p

Anyways, I look forward to seeing the list of countries available to us when the NES starts.

I have a ruleset and everything set up, map too. Just working on stats now.

I reserve a commie nation. Any commie nation, I'm not picky.

What do all of the colors represent in the second map, out of curiosity?

Blue is USA and direct allies, light blue being under the American sphere
Red is USSR and allies, light red being under the Soviet sphere
Green is the Neutrality Protection Alliance, light green being those associated with/under their sphere.
Purple are the non-aligned.

It's not based on the games...

I know, but still. France would never remain neutral IRL at that point of history, methinkaswell.

I'm not going to participate in it though. Voted WoW, and it really doesn't interest me, so you can feel free to do whatever you guys want. :p

(Not personal Warhead, I just don't like post 1900 NESes.)

WarMAN :p
