What's Gruden done anyway? He took a team that Dungy built behind a D that Dungy theorized and led it to a superbowl behind one of the best FB/HB tandems ever. He then ran the team into the ground. Plus he's a dick.

That's why they went 9-7 the last two years he coached them AND he guided the teams he coached to first place in their division 5 out of 11 seasons. In addition, he's only had 3 seasons where the team he coached had a losing record. So his teams have been more likely to end up in first and in the playoffs than to end up with a losing record and a high pick. That's pretty damn good if you ask me (You don't know how happy the Browns fans would be if they could get that over the next eleven years out of their team!). That's not even mentioning that the team he left for Tampa Bay, the Oakland Raiders were in such good shape (coming off two consecutive years winning their division), that they made the Super Bowl the year he left to guide Tampa Bay to their title.

I hope you enjoy Gruden making Locker play with a burst spleen.

Hell, our whole team already plays like it. Might as well win a Super Bowl while they are at it.

    Touchdown Raiders!

Russell would have had them 3 and out.

JaMarcbust would have won this game by 30 points with his laser rocket arm. It's mighty nice of Grads to give him a two game rest for the big playoff run coming up.

Well, the Titan's just won with a 99 yard rush ending in a touchdown on 4th and goal with six seconds left. Vince Young is just awesome.
EDIT: beat to the titans comment, but V Young is still amazing

Tennessee is now 5-6, 5-0 with Vince as the starter :jesus: He also completely owns Matt Leinart.

For some reason, after sitting for over a year, he can now actually throw the ball. So yes, he seems to be for real. Mind you, it does help to have the best running back in football lining up behind him, but still...

I'm not ready to, um, crown his ass yet, but it is starting to look like he's gotten
    his head screwed back on.

Some of the ESPN "folk" said being benched was the best thing to happen to him. If he had stayed the starter he would kept making the same -o mistakes. Being benched he had to learn the playbook, study film, ect... and improve.

Well, not if the Saints play like they did tonight. But if they play the way they did against the Dolphins...
