NFL 2016 regular season

If Tyrod Taylor were to go postal in Bill's HQ I would not blame him a bit given how shabbily he is getting
treated : http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/l...with-no-tyrod-taylor-fans-go-nuts-on-twitter/

He hasn't been great this year but you can't play offense under Rex Ryan and expect to do well if you aren't the running back. People pointed out that he only has like 1 +300 yard game but how the hell are you going to get yards under a dude who would run the ball 80 times a game if he could get away with it

If 2016 has done anything for us at least it's gotten rid of some horrible coaches. Jeff Fisher, Rex Ryan, Gus Bradley...it might claim Chip Kelly, but they may not want to do that after firing the king of weird jobs after 1 year, too.

Don't count those chickens. For every fired coach there is a job opening for a coach. Those same horrible coaches will be lining up to interview for those jobs, and may well get them. Failing Fischer to J'ville and sexy Rexy makes a splash in LA? He's the kind of outsized personality that ownership might think would be a good thing.

Though I hear Tom Coughlin has already interviewed in J'ville and I'd be really surprised if he doesn't have an insurmountable lead on the inside track.

I would love to dispute this, but the NFL takes recycling to a new level when it comes to head coaches.

Aaaannnnddd we have a candidate for 2017 Catch of the Year already.

I saw very little of this weekends games...and consider that a win.

Well there was the GB game, and I always consider watching Rodgers play to be worth.

Meh. Great quarterback play when building a lead into the insurmountable region isn't all that interesting, even when it is Rodgers. Now, if Eli and the Giants offense had put up even the token resistance that their defense did I might feel like I missed something. It looks like the only thing that had that game close at any point was either Rodgers just taking the first twenty-five minutes or so off or the Giants defense holding him in check until they wore out due to getting no relief from the offense.

Yeah, but watching Rodgers pick apart an ace defense is the show.

Ace defenses don't hold up through very many three and outs by their offense, even if they aren't up against Rodgers. They get tired and discouraged and let ridiculous things happen as if the quarterback caused them...like completions on hail mary passes. There was a whole lot of "well, we're a point down already, which with our offense is insurmountable" at work there. Don't get me wrong, I respect Rodgers' ability to drop the ball at the back line, but seriously the result of that play was all about the defense and not about him.

That said, I hope the Packers beat the stuffing outta the Cowpokes.
