I am hardly a homer. In fact, if you had bothered to read the hockey threads in the past, you would know that I am a Senators fan, and to a lesser extent, Vancouver. I am simply defending a team that I do not believe is as bad as you think. I like the Flames, and go to Flames games, but they are not my overall favourite team. You assume that because I live in Calgary, I am a diehard Flames fan.

Of course they lost, they were wearing those awful horse jerseys :vomit:

This is a team that Darryl Sutter has built for success. He has an elite player, Iginla, multiple 20 goal threads, Amonte(20 goals last season), Langkow(21 goals last season), Reinprecht(18 goals last time he played close to a full season, two seasons ago), Simon(17 goals in last two seasons), Donovan(18 goals last season), some pretty good defencemen, Regehr, Leopold, and the rookie Phaneuf, etc., etc., etc.,

I am not going to respond to anything else you post on this subject for two reasons:
1)I don't feel like arguing anymore
2)I feel like I am arguing with a brick wall.

At this point in the season, rankings should only be based on winning percentage. I mean, most teams have only played 4 or 5 other clubs. Give me another month of play before makig the rankings subjective...

    Chris Simon? Shean Donovan?

You must know the Flames suck if you're listing those two as some of the Flames "good" scorers. Simon is a third line enforcer and Donovan has moved down the depth chart since recording a career high 18 goals.

But, since you didn't bother to deny that the Flames were a one year wonder like so many others before them and now declare yourself to be above any arguing, I'll assume that you acknowledge that I am right.

"Boo hoo I don't want to argue anymore its pointless mommy!!11!!1!"

Looking at the top two, I'm sensing some kind of evil Ontario plot. Good. :p

Why should I waste my time going around in circles? You go ahead if you want, but I'm getting off this never ending ride now.

Like I said, this is obviously just your way of saying that I am right without directly admitting it.

Obviously I am the only one smart enough to know that we are arguing about something pointless, in which neither side is going to compromise.

I always thought I'd be happier with

    1. Ottawa
    30. Toronto

but I got to say it feels good to be the region on top of the hockey world. Go Sens (and the rest of Ontario, to a certain extent, but only a certain extent, and only as long as it doesn't count, and nobody ever rubs my face in it).

...and once again the Bruins prove they can't hold onto a lead. :(

0-5 against Northeast opponents, things aren't looking good.

OLN ratings down 52% from ESPN from last year, a Rangers game actually had a .001 rating--386th rated show that week:eek: On the other side Fox regional games are up 26%. Translation, dump OLN and watch your teams home games only:lol:
