Los Angeles in 5!
Kings in 6... and in my head, I'm leading.
Do i have until wednesday evening at 8:00PM EST sharp to recuperate the LA/PHX 4 points that could have put me in a six participants race?
SC-RU columns wiped out!
Repeat, then... still LA in 6 - mathematical impossibility just for subi's absurb 15 minutes.
Congrats to the early winners -- again this year.
But in another, more accurate way, you're in fourth place. Deal with it.
I'm dealing with it just fine by the methods which I'd previously mentioned. I'm just disappointed that my best chance to win the Thunderfall Cup had to turn out this way.
turn out what way? for Subi to break the rules for you? yet you still rail on about it. rules are rules, you know.
why don't you just drop it? the more you post about it, the worse you look, bro.
El Justo speaks the truth. Knowing when the games start and getting your picks in on time is YOUR responsibility, that is NOT on Subi. Puck drop is a perfectly reasonable cut-off point for accepting picks. LET IT GO.
Now the question is, do I do the opposite of what you do, or gamble on who I think will actually win (LA) and try to get the right number of games...
I'm going to go with Kings in 6. It's difficult picking against Marty in a situation like this, but I don't think that the Devils have enough to contain the King's explosiveness. I just don't see them cooling off.
Kings in 5.
I've decided I'll go with New Jersey in 6, just because going with LA means a possibility of a tie with tonberry if neither of us gets the right number of games, and ties are no fun.
After taking some time to reflect, I concede the point. I don't want to be seen as an ass or as someone who complains excessively, but it's clear that I'm being that. I was disappointed mostly because I'd scrupulously avoided spoilers while I traveled, and I was simply hoping that people would be amenable to allowing my predictions to be counted, but I accept subi's ruling on the matter.
But yeah, no one wants to hear this any longer, and I don't want to alienate anyone, so I'll speak no further on the subject and do my best with the predictions I have made on time.
Good man, Iggy.
Seems I'm back in time. Anyway, I'll keep my prediction: LAK in 6.
As a matter of fact, it's really who logs here last before puck drops that can climb the ranks. Quarters and semis have been known to cause a scramble for "counter-betting" choices.
Wouldn't you hesitate to determine what points can prevent anyone to win?
My bet on the Smythe goes to Brown or Kowalchuk and simply toss a coin on the goalies.
LA in 6.
Reminder for anyone who hasn't made picks yet, the Finals start tonight.
Still an hour and a half before the game starts, but here is what I have so far for the Finals.
