NHL Playoffs discussion and predictions here.
I think they could have gone far, but beating Boston in the first round without Zetterberg and with that defence seems too tough to me. It would be great though.. Detroit vs Chicago in the finalsI feel like I'm the only one here who has faith that Detroit can pull this off. Maybe it's because I spend too much in the echo chamber that is /r/detroitredwings, but I really feel like Detroit will come out as the hard-fought winners against Boston.
Although Boston is definitely the team to beat for sure.

Nah, it's still only worth two points. We'd all get to jump on the Detroit bandwagon in the next round. Now if Detroit beat Boston and went on to win the East (+2) and the Cup (+4) the rest of us would have a tougher row to hoe, but we'd still just be a couple of picks here or there away from even . . .
Speaking of points, I suppose I'm a little late here but I see a couple of things that are confusing. Correctly picking the conference champs and Cup champs are each given a certain number of points, as is predicting the final series in the correct number of games. Everyone posted a champion and a finals matchup, but not everyone -- including Subi, who posted the rules -- posted a number of games for the final series . . .
Were we supposed to pick a number of games for the final series before the playoffs began . . ?
