Any interest in doing this?

- The league expanded this year with the Seattle Kraken.
- Will Tampa Bay Lightning be able to take their third consecutive Stanley Cup?
- Schedule back to pre pandemic 82 games regular season (October-April).
- Divisions are again back to normal.

My team will always be the New York Rangers.

Opening night today.

I guess that the Penguins will be thrilled watching Lightning hoist the banner tonight. Kraken will have their debut vs Vegas.

Toronto, Rangers and a few other teams start tomorrow.

Let's go!

Kraken have it in tough. Most of their forwards are out.

Leafs aren't looking too hot either. Matthews already out, Marner possibly out. Mikheyev out.

I was considering becoming a fan of the Kraken in an attempt to revitalize my interest in the sport, but they bungled their entry so badly that I decided it'd just be more of the same. So I'm sticking with just the Leafs, for better or worse. It's gonna be worse.

Expecting elite play from Matthews this season. Any news on what kind of injury or is it the usual generic upper body/lower body?

Ryan Donato wrote history for Kraken with their first goal in the NHL. Congratulations!

Rangers gooning up for tonights game vs Caps. The idea is to let Tom Wilson pay for shenanigans last season.

Wrist issues, again. He waited until August for surgery and it had a minimum recovery time of six weeks.

The ticket situation with Buffalo is sad to see, but not surprising. There's only so many times you can crash and burn before fans stop caring. Some people said it was because of the border being closed, but Canadians only make up about 15% of season tickets for the Sabres.

What a clown shoes organization. Pure Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I feel sorry for their fans and I feel sorry for Eichel. Pissing away his career like that. Too bad, when he's on he's certainly among the best forwards in the league.

I've been away for two months Syn. Today's tragic news brought me back.

However I see no reason to keep this thread afloat unless you insist ;)

Eichel's already skating and cleared for practice. Absurd. Hockey players are somethin' else.

ADR surgery. Crazy or desperate? Crossing my fingers for him anyway.

Great start for Leafs don't you think?

Yeah, I've been told that the fanbase is somewhat aparte in that regard.

Meanwhile; covid rampage in NHL.

There is an entire Atlantic Ocean separating yours truly and MSG. So I rarely get a feel of how full the arena is. I looked up the numbers from last game however and it says 89% Things may change fast though.

McJesus with 47 points in 28 games. That's Gretzky numbers.

Shame that he's stuck on a one-line team.
