It's ok, I check my email more often (well, it auto-updates) than the forums. Come to think of it, I won't hold it against you if you never post a GPS again.
While we're waiting on cubs' turn, I would just like to raise the issue so we can agree on it:
I suggest that upon seeing each other, whoever makes eye contact first (by spotting a unit or walking a unit beside the cultural borders) must open the diplo screen (shift-D or the D button in the corner of the screen) (only way to open talks if you see borders but not a unit) and cancel the active peace deal. No trades.
This way it randomizes WH, we don't have to wait for someone to pull the trigger on a unit.
Not that I want to be the one to cause trouble, but such a ruling is clearly biased against the one who does his exploration with fast units, since he is roughly twice as likely to be the one to spot the other. And that someone would happen to be me, so me not like that rule.
I agree with no trades though. Why not simply let the first attack decide who gets the WH?
Hmm, I actually missed that when I had that idea. Now I feel dumb. Well, you definitely risk being the first one to land an attack anywho, so I'll go for either version.
