No City Name or Info Problem

Despite having an older system:

Pentium 4
1.80 GHZ
256MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 2 MXMX400

I am able to play the game fairly smoothly. However, I can't read the city name, size, or other city info from the main game screen because there are blue boxes instead of text and numbers.

Does anybody else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. I finally resolved it by downloading the current video drivers. I have NVIDIA.

But, I went to NVIDIA to download the drivers and it didn't work for me. If I remember correctly, I went tot he control panel and updated my drivers that way and the problem was resolved.
