No map exchange?

is there an option to trade map with AI or it's one of the "new" features not having it i'm at 200 turn knowing like 1/10 of he world map

Well, new cities pop up if you've already uncovered the map, so at least that feature's there. Build a few ships and poke around. It's more involved that way.
