No unit graphics in BtS

Warlords and Vanilla work just fine, but when I boot up BtS, I can't see the units on the grid. Clicking the grid squares selects the units; they still exist, but I can't see them. I reinstalled the game and patch 3.19 to no avail. Any ideas?

EDIT: I tried loading new games and other saves; it's not just a corrupted save or something simple like that.

Oh my god. There is a button next to the show yield and show grid button that hids city details and units. I learned this by completely uninstalling BtS (including all preferences, which I did not do the first time) and reinstalling... *facepalm*
