Well, the last one I published didn't get too much traction. But I don't mind rolling one and running the script. Lets keep that as a final resort :)

A new game towards the week-end would be very appreciated. So please go ahead! Maybe the choice will even fall to my favorite worst leader Saladin. No, wait, last guy was already Spiri. Maybe China?

It's seems to be very much hit and miss. :) Some games I have done have gotten very positive review and others less so. I remember a Monty game I personally liked alot but others didn't seem to like that map...

Spi we had with asoka so better not Saladin right away. But Any other PRO leader I think is fair game, go with whom you like. :)

Is there a list of leaders we've played on this cycle?

No, we seem to be too lazy and disorganized to put that together. :D
We started with Hannibal for 212 iirc.

I believe so. That means we've done

    212 Hannibal
    213 Bismarck
    214 Catherine
    215 Hammurabi
    216 Suleiman
    217 Lincoln
    218 Asoka

If we're looking for a PRO leader next, might I suggest Gilgamesh?

Gilgamesh could be problematic, as that eliminates the possibility of us ending up in semi-iso with him. I know @Tobiyogi has sweet memories of good ol Gilga. :)

Actually, I seem to remember a let's play game I saw with Gilgamesh, and it's strategy was doing a spy based game, that might be a cool challenge.

Better to be the Vulture-King himself than to see his angry face all the time :king: and of course, we are all looking for more semi-iso games !

If there's no objections I'll roll the next map with that idea in mind. What it'll end up being in practice is, of course, a completely different question, but I've got a few ideas in mind in that regard...
    Spoiler :
No, it does not involve being semi-iso with Sitting Bull, because while I am, in fact, that mean I'd prefer to continue the trend of "you don't need to be Lain to maybe beat an NC map" set by the Asoka map after the Hammurabi one.

Not sure how many are lined up, but I might actually be able to post the next one before I go to bed. Got unreasonably lucky and rolled a very nice-looking map in like 6 tries, crazy.

EDIT: Forgot to do this earlier, but Nobles' Club 219: Gilgamesh of Sumeria is up. Typos no longer included as they got fixed by a moderator :goodjob:.

Cool! BTW I think edits don't send email alerts, I saw this a couple of times before, so I would advise making a new post for the new game.

Anyone got a new NC game on their plate ? If not I wouldn't be opposed to rolling a map if there's interest :). For reference, the fifth cycle's leaders so far have been:

    212 Hannibal (FIN/CHA)
    213 Bismarck (EXP/IND)
    214 Catherine (CRE/IMP)
    215 Hammurabi (AGG/ORG)
    216 Suleiman (PHI/IMP)
    217 Lincoln (PHI/CHA)
    218 Asoka (SPI/ORG)
    219 Gilgamesh (CRE/PRO)

In terms of traits we're looking at either everyone's favorite leader Quechua (IND/FIN :p) or Pacal (EXP/FIN). Of those two I think Pacal is the better pick - I know I wanted to roll maps that didn't take Lain to maybe beat, but a UU that sends Sitting Bull running for the hills (futilely ) is perhaps a little excessive ;).

    213 Bismarck (EXP/IND)
    214 Catherine (CRE/IMP)
    215 Hammurabi (AGG/ORG)
    216 Suleiman (PHI/IMP)
    217 Lincoln (PHI/CHA)
    218 Asoka (SPI/ORG)
    219 Gilgamesh (CRE/PRO)
    220 Pacal II (EXP/FIN)

Next up trait-wise would be Stalin (AGG/IND), but I think the man-o-steel would be a good leader for
    Spoiler :
full iso - AGG to defend against barbs early and get Amphibious Grens later, IND to get Mids/GLH/failgold/etc. to fuel the research. Of course the past few maps have been Fractal maps, and I think it's time for a different map script.
So any objections to a Pangaea featuring the next in line, Augustus Caesar (IND/IMP)? I'm thinking a lesson in whip overflow (2-pop whipping Praets into axes/archers) and why Praetorians are an insane UU.

In short: Not a hard map, but a fun map .

@AcaMetis I am not a huge fan of adapting mapscripts dramatically to the leader (like you proposed for Stalin), I think every possible combination can be a lesson for players of any level. No objections to Augustus next, but it would attract me less to play it if I knew already by know what type of map it will probably be....
