Sweet Beelzebub, a start like that with a PHI leader is borderline abusive. Almost tempted to play this one, although I loathe Sitting Bull even in spite of the godly Philo trait.

    IMM 1540 AD Domination Victory

    Spoiler :

Not quite satisfied with the win.

I started settling on stone. Rex quickly and built Stonehenge, Oracle (got MC), Pyramids and Parthenon. Pop out a Great Prophet to help the expansion. Bulbed machinery from the 2nd GP (engineer). By that time Gilgamesh is closing in my territory, so I went for a xbow rush. Although I suffered heavy casualty in taking the first city. I have already constructions so pretty much he is a goner. I have most of his cities by 100AD. Economy-wise I am losing money at 0% research but luckily wang is willing to trade currency. I think Gilgamesh is a good target in retrospect; eventhough he has high cultural defense and protective archers. He spams ziggurats even without CoL so that is instantly a free courthouse for me! What's more I am eating vultures for breakfast.

I went for Wang as the next target because he is having a tech lead. His cities are mostly built on hills, fortified with walls and PRO longbows. What I like about the xbow rush is that engineering is just one tech away. So I got the war going while building elephants and trebs. Trebs are so slow to arrive at the battlefield but he is unable to retaliate nonetheless.

After this part of the game, I know I have won already but I just want to win with an earlier date. Thus, I attacked charlie asap with eleph+crossbow+trebs. I have taken his four cities, capitulate him and go for Justinian. Both AIs are at war 30 turns back so their tech progresses are roughly the same as the weakened wang.

I won liberalism and get military tradition. Spammed cuirs and attacked Zara while I am finishing Justinian. I made a mistake in not eliminating Justinian completely but just vassaled him. This keeps my newly conquered cities from revolting constantly. So not making the same mistake, Zara is eliminated and done the same for Toku as well (also I spared his island cities). I got bored in taking Ragnar's cities but instead spammed culture in all cities to get the domination limit.

Yeah some forest unchopped. Got too lazy to do that. :p

I think in order to achieve quick domination. You need to eliminate some AIs completely especially one with high cultural potential.

@NobleZarkon: thanks for this wonderful map for practicing xbow rush

Im going to give this one a go, from what people said i cant really decide on GLH or mids, so i guess ill figure it out in a bit, GLH is pretty nice though, and with a seafood start like this, its hard to find a reason not to. Rep is nice but, depending on the trade routes, GLH could be ridiculous, if its one where overseas trade happens without astronomy.

bleh, i ragequit after the map cheesed me twice.

    Spoiler :
First 250bc toku dow's me from 1/2 way across the world, through zara, who had boxed him into 5 cities lol, and had more negatives than me. Then after narrowly escaping that, wang dow's me going across gilgamesh with the same ridiculous negatives from religion between them. Did throw up 10 cities pretty quit, won mids/glh with no real issues. Pissed me off though so i said forget it. Not sure how you guys got a 400ad lib date, i had won music at around 1 ad, and finished tgl, but ended up with 3 GM's somehow. I cant see myself libbing on this one before 800AD, too many problems, and needing like 6 or 7 of those silly dog guys to suicide on every barb town that pops up in the way. Map really tested my patience. Would be nice if someone put up a video of those first 100 turns or so, I always have trouble balancing everything when im able to expand to 10+ cities without being boxed in.

3 GMs without anything else sounds very unlucky.
I ran Case + Pacifism for quite a while to make sure i get at least 2 more GS after Academy and Philo for bulbs into Education and Lib. I used 2 citys, capitol + an additional city that went up to size 10 at least to ensure faster GP spawn. Overall i had 3 GMs + 4 GS + 1 GE before 600 AD which was my Lib date for MT. Not sure, if i did won Music remembering switching to case + pacisfism with Anarchy and early. Instantly Used the GE for a golden age to get 1-2 more guys and to switch back to slavery + OR without Anarchy.
Only played Immortal though, but doesnt really make a difference with the GPs.

    emporer/normal.Culture victory turn 265/1775AD.

View attachment NC 143 Sitting Bull AD-1775 culture victory.CivBeyondSwordSave

    Spoiler :
surprised no-one else went culture as this is the ideal map to do it on.Marble and stone,a super defence unit with garrisonIII longbows,or guerillaII straight out the gate, and on top of that mountain ranges with choke points to put forts on to protect the kingdom.

Just built the 6 citys so I could build the globe theatre, didnt seem any need for war with the land we start with.

    thanks for posting the map.

First Immortal Game (long time Empror player).

Got SH, Mids, Great Library. No BC education (how do you guys do that?). Went as far as two vassals but then I was way behind in tech. By the time I got Infantry almost everyone else was close to mech inf.

    Will try again tonight.

Tried the game a few more times and I get as far as two vassals and then someone just flies off with the tech race and I'm left in the dust.

Finally got a win but my one of my least favorate wins : a cultural win but I can't complain at least it is a first win on immortal.

I think I got have gotten a better win date if I decided on a cultural win early on, but oh well..

Played this out to a 1480ad Cheese. Almost domination.

    Spoiler :

Settled on the stone. Built 2 more cities and went for mids. Settle 2 more cities and grabbed a late oracle too. Farmed all cities for growth and specialists.

Used specialists to reach edu almost around 100ad or before. Used a GE for Glib in capital. Bulbed a lot of unwanted techs like compass and MC. Took MT from Lib. 560ad.

Was all ready for Cuirs when I realised I had no horse. Ooops!

Drafted some muskets/left over dog soldiers/5-6 pults and took Toku nearby horse city. This delayed my starting cuirs war date by 300 years. Toku cities were falling quick once cuirs arrived. Used original stack plus follow up cuirs. He lacked mace/lb so I was fighting archers/swords/chariots. Not sure I lost a single cuirs.

After toku I rolled over Zara, Gilga, WK and Justin.

I had also captured AP from Wk. Ragnar already had the religion. I whipped 4 hundu missionaires. Gifted one to HRE/ Gilga/Zara and spread one to Toku.

Turn after I delcared onm HRE I got an Ap vote for victory. So I took 2 of HRE cities. Turn after victory screen appeared. Rule of thumb vassels will always vote for you in the AP even if they hate you. ;)

Overall It saved me a few turns of war. 172k score.
