I had some time to play with these things last week, so there.
As for if this will be finished or not, I guess you'll have to wait.
If you don't like what you see or don't believe in my unit making drive, feel free to take a hike and don't pollute my thread.

I have made runs for most but I work 14 hour days most time, so I don't have time to waste others time, or them wasting mine.

Note: some of these aren't mine(and those that are, are based on alterations of existing models), but I'm modifying everything I do, anyway, one way or another.

I'm gonna change the Minotaur model prolly, till the finalization of the art.
These are more or less placeholders that can probably be done in a better way.

That centaur looks really good. Are you ever going to finish this stuff?

For instance, when it comes to Centaurs these are some ideas that might be in, a settler and an archer shown here. Notice the shirt doesn't show all the detail it should(golden lace detail) and thus I might have to change the color to white from black. I usually have that problem with civ 3, the shotgunner had bullet animations and some other enhancements that didn't get through to the final render.

These are Poser 7 firefly renders which are smoother that standard renderer to answer an old question about which is better. However firefly takes longer to render.

Shouldn't take less than 3 years, considering how long Wasteworld is taking. I might convert it for SSS even, can't tell with certainty.

Cerberus and I forgot how I named the other.
I'll have to check it on my reference file.

I could use so many of these for my Greek scenario!

I consider it impossible for someone not a hardcore fan to understand all the basics of D&D type games(plus the possibility for conflicts with the licenced versions or the average fan request of "you didn't get the X detail on X unit and X name 100% correct! get it straight, will ya?") so I decided to make my own rules and setting, which in this case is Noburkor, a fantasy themed land.

More details when it'll be available(it will be explained in the accompanying help files).

I take it you using an Age of Mythology style for your scenario then?
Sorry none are released yet, have only made runs for a few, since other things come first. BUT you can get versions of these by other users, I'm sure Utah made a few and then there's Kinboat for instance(with Minotaur and others).

A little searching will get you a lot of the things you want.

If you mean, is it a derivative or a similiar to another word(like many claim Sony did with Sonus etc), then no, it just felt good in my head back then. However, I've since included such names or terms in the setting.

You can assume it means "lands of the outcast" more or less.

Well, if so, I'd go with Novurkor or something like it.
It's good as a notion though. I might actually use that for a leader name.
Orcs could have such names. Or I might name them thus to avoid a D&D/ LoTR similarity.

I've never played it to know, really, but probably.

I know what's already out there. However, many of the things that you have, I can use. For example, the Centaurs (can't let good Centaurs go to waste ;)), and Cerberus (it's even in my Tequest thread!)

Your models look awesome as usal flamescreen. I've been wanting a pegasus (flying horse) and a unicorn forever. However varwnos brought up a good point that you always preview great models but you've never posted any units. What happened to your wasteworld units?

Also gorn there is a mummy unit out there. utahjazz posted one in this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=4365811&postcount=1

Indeed it would be. But according to my last few PM's with Ram, the scenario is nearly completed, but post-poned indefinitely. This was quite awhile ago that I shot him a message, but perhaps if I continue to spam his email account he'll finish up  .

This stuff is really cool by the way.
