Recently I started a new game with Nojah. Ok, I get a hero from the beginning of the game. But what should I do with an arcane hero who hasn't any focus promotions?

use him like an melee hero since he can still gain combat I to V and heroic strength etc. :)

Ok, he is quite a formidable unit in the early game, I must admit. And I should be able to upgrade him to a mage, if I read the civilopedia correctly, and then he should get Focus I and II.

Hey, something weird happened. Why has he now a strength of 5/4? He should have 5/3 with his promotions...

i have no clue, i only know that he is quite an obstacle when i try to crush the crazy balseraphs under my heels :)

Balseraph shadows and Nojah have a shapeshifting ability that allows them to become as powerful as the enemies they defeat in battle. If he defeats Auric, his base combat would be 30

Maybe this should be mentioned in his not-yet-existing pedia entry? :)

BlackArchon,

write the pedia entries, i will edit and upload into the system for you.

this goes for anyone that sees a pedia entry missing and they want to contribute, even a short entry is better then none.

post them to my attention, and i will take it from there. ;)

Maybe a bit off-topic, but where does all this Lore come from? I read somewhere that the original FFH was based on the maker's D&D campaign, but considering the modmods have been developed by others and much of the lore was expanded, I'm curious to where all of this is coming from?

Generally? From the modmodders themselves. The majority of us have a good grasp of the lore, and work to stay within it... Some of us are also creative.

It should be noted that you're welcome to add your contributions. Log on to the wiki and add your work to the talk section. Most modmods have a dedicated thread too. Of course, that doesn't mean that your work will necessarily make the final game... but it certainly won't make it into the modmod if it's only in your mind.
