    I nominate myself.

At the moment, my platform is identical to that of gbno1fan, except good instead of evil. :mischief:

I'll think of my own platform later.

    No I am. :p

Do we have anything less generic than "good instead of evil" (it's a little common during election time...) ;)

You didnt see any typos... *hypnotise*

I was going to think of one a little later, right now I'm too busy making PBEM's go quickly.

Do my opponents have platforms ready yet?

I would think voters would favor candidates who are prompt for a position that requires reliability such as Provost.

I have been reliable and prompt (with a few minor nomenclature miscommunications) throughout my term(s) in office.

Unforseen commitments are forcing me to pull out of this election. Damn English teacher starting a large project on Shakespear....

My whole platform is basically one of unity.

Care to expand on that, C_H?

I, of course, understand precisely what you are getting at, with all the subtle layers of meaning and metaphor; but I'm afraid that some of the other team mates (of the Canadian persuasion, in particular) may not come to so deep an understand as quickly as I did without a little more explanation ;)

We are now on turn 15 of the current term.

I'm leaving in a couple hours and most likely won't be able to access the Internet for awhile (either tomorrow or Monday...), but I might as well post now. :)

As gbno1fan has stated he doesn't prefer to run for this office again and wants to pursue a different ministry (correct?), I'd like to nominate myself for this position, one which would be more suited for my (very busy) life, and give me more flexability in serving The Leader.

I am able to visit and post on the forum regularly, but I just feel I'm not able to give enough time to the Ministry of Defence at this time.

The nomination period is now closed.

Due to lack of competition, the Head of the Office of the Humanities for Term 6 is lost_civantares.

    How about Peter Grimes?
I'll nominate you for this post! :)

(And Lost Civ - if you don't want to run for Defense, I think you've been doing a good job here, and would be happy to nominate you for another term)

I'd like to run for another term for the Office of Humanities, there's no way I'd have the time right now for Defense Minister.

Mwahaha! My plan of singularity of successful nominations has induced me to the grand position of leader of the office of Humanities! :p

Due to peter grimes becoming Minister of Defense, Lost_civantares continues as Minister of Humanities, Nomenclature, UN Ambassador, elections, and Team Provost into Term 7.
