I think the government actually gives TVs to all (or most) of it's citizens.

A limited number, and obviously more amongst party member and especially urban citizens. Last estimates from the 1990s put it at about one set for every 50 people, and the economy has actually been doing relatively good since then.

This has to be a fake. It bears little resemblance to other English-language North Korean propaganda (e.g. KCNA), and it even criticizes Mugabe. Certainly it makes some decent points, most of which come from Western left-wing intellectuals like Chomsky, but I don't think there's any chance it's actually North Korean.

I loved the part on television indoctrinating the west. North Korea uses it to do the same thing.

The saddest part? Its used, because it works, and its used in so many different ways that you can label another state's method as "brainwashing tvs", and your own people won't see the kind they earned.

To point out deficiency of others is simple. It does not make one's position any more valid, especially if they are mired in a far worse situation. Especially in regards to modern day left-wing 'progressives', who would be the first to be shot on the brick wall if real liberals ever came to their senses and realized criticism is not the same as intelligence. My 4 year old nephew can spout this crap if taught, but that does not make him an ideological pillar of morality. This is something the likes of choamsky love to forget, and shows the degrading pattern of intelligence by those desperate to find any excuse to criticize.
