[NOT A BUG - SOLVED] CTD on Ramkhamhaeng diplo screen

I'm not sure if it started with 1.0.0.62 or the Mongol DLC, but right now whenever I load up Siam's diplo screen, the game crashes.

Running DX9
WinXP sp3
Both full-screen and windowed, on multiple resolutions, no mods enabled.

Anybody else have this?

First thing you should try is to use steam to check the games files. This means it will check if there is corrupted file in the game and if there is it will download it again from the server. You can do this by opening steam go to the Library where you see your games left click Civilization V choose properties. There choose Local Files and then choose "Verify the integrity of game cache". Then it will check the files and download those again that doesn't pass validation.

Then check if that fixed it.

Thanks for the tip, I tried that and updated my drivers but still no good.
Steam seemed to think that everything was fine.
I think I'm going to have to wait for something from Firaxis's end; as it is I'm getting a lot of graphical glitches (red blotches on desert, tundra, and snow, and jagged/scrambled icons) pretty messy.

So it was file corruption after all.
I deleted all of the leader screen files and had Steam replace them and that seems to have done the trick.
