not loading

I am try to start playing but dont get any respons

In the log file I got the folowing message:

[18136.046] ERR: InitWinApp() failed, exiting

what can I do ?

Same problem on this thread http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=173973&page=3 from post #48. Hope it helps somehow. I'm not too sure why it is doing that, but if you have any mods remove them and try it again.
