2 or 3 turns ago, America (I think) popped a great engineer. then someone got the free engineer - I was dreading this news as my workers were constructing the space elevator. Today, I learned that we completed it!!!

No, we skipped that event. We saw it but didn't go. We went snorkeling several days, went body surfing several days, took the road to Hana, did a Luau, went to Front Street for the Halloween parade, went to the Ulalena show. Best vacation I have had in years...although not very restful because we stayed very busy. Those are the best kind of vacations though.
 
Yeah, I was there once and went Snorkeling a bunch! It was excellent, saw a bunch of turtles and a monk seal. Didn't do Hana though.

Ya, we took a boat to Molikini Island and Turletown and saw lots of fish, eels, and turtles. After that we just went snorkeling in a cove by our resort and saw tons more turtles. It was amazing.

I enjoyed the road to Hana. It has over 600 turns and lots of one vehicle wide bridges. We stopped a lot to look at the waterfalls, trails, beaches, and blowholes. My kids didn't like the drive because they got a little car sick with all those turns. The drive to Hana is not a destination, it really is a journey. It took all day.

I would also like the record to show that DogBoy1 is at war with Germany again because it was our agreement that I would capture his last city as soon has his troops were safely delivered to his other civ. I am merely honoring the conditions of our peace, this does not make me a warmonger.

This sure has been a special game, no one has dropped out this whole time. I have to admit I am having a lot of fun with all of you.

When this game ends one of you should start another one just for the five of us.
 
I don't have any suggestions re UN resolutions. Re the possible new game, Vanilla, warlords or BtS?
 
If we start a new game, it will be with BtS. However, I'm leaving in less than 3 weeks to go to Iraq. My play will be intermediate for the first month while I do some training in Kuwait. After that, I should have stable internet access.

But let's just continue to play this game for now. It is going quite well.
 
I won't have BTS until Christmas. Either I get it or I'll buy it the week after. Figure another month or so before I'll be ready for PBEM with that.

Has patch 3.13 been fixed yet?

I'm game for another Vanilla.
