NTVDM.EXE problem

Hi, can u please help me to instal Civilization 2 . When I try to instal it there is a message " NTVDM.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close...."
I am using Dell Laptop with Windows XP. I really would like to play this fantastic game . Thank u for your help.

Hmmm... I don't remember if the sticky thread about Civ2 in Win 2000 / XP has anything about that. If not, you may find some answers following this link ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/196453/en-us ).
