Boy that thing is fast. But I expect it to be expensive too with over 200 million transistors in the core. That power demand seems horrible too. I wonder what ATI is going to throw against this beast.

Yep, I've heard about it... ATI will likely match it. Nothing new here for me, though if you're in the market for a new card, its great, its much like AMD's 64 Bit Chips... Great, but thus-far useless.

I heard they had to set the tact-rate lower than the 5950 to keep power consumption below 100W

think of the heat that will generate, you will propably need your own water-tower to cool that beast
