perhaps we should sacrifice a herd of sheep and ask the shaman to chanel the life energy to a god. Maybe he will cure us from this curse'd desease.

You managed to locate source of this curse. And (hopefully) most of you recovered.

To send energy to gods, one needs to pray - more prayers (both in amount of prayers and amount of people praying) and more sincere/faithful the prayers = more energy for god. As gods are life energy addict, they will probably be interested in long term income of life energy. That means they will prolly help you with some prayers, but not all (can't spend all drugs on getting more drugs, can they?)

Shamans manipulate life energy lines to create "magic effects", they are not much better at praying that commoners are.

Update 6
Summer of 752

It is year of 752, summer. Trees are blossoming, insects buzz around plants and first signs of future fruits appear on trees. Life in Baimora is flourishing - trees grow larger, pigs grow stronger and undead grow more numerous ... wait undead? ... Wait "Life" !?! ... Worry not, All will be revealed to you in time.

In its short re-existance Village of Gormadash has faced several troubles and has always emerged victorious, will it happen to village of Gor' this time. Village now is part of the "The Clan" (a defensive organization of Orc race), it is strong and can supply its villagers, with food no problems. But that does mean this tiny settlement is free of all problems. No, in fact more than half of the village warriors are sick with magical plague - that source was not easy to locate. Village itself is spread and torn and new economical system of The Clan is already taking its roots.

But enough of this introduction, time to tell what our "lowly heroes of Gor'" did. And they did quite a bit of hard work, despite being sick.

As I(or should I say "we"?) mentioned before, there were many sick in this village. And many orcs treating those sick people. Among them was a little known orc loner called 'Wotepchu'. This orc treated other orcs with utmost care (and used a lot of 'experimental cures' and 'experimental methods' in the progress) and despite not being able to rid them of their sickness, managed to ease pain and suffering of many. All this time spent with the sick was not wasted for Wotepchu Broadhand, in fact he mastered the skill of "Basic Medicine" and is now able to 'improvise' basic medical help with no cost of herbs (or other items). However if he can us herbs, his healing skills are greatly improved. His attacks also have increased chance to deal critical damage (by knowing where the weak body parts ("heart and brain") are located. Learning this skill and single-mindedly working on sick patients greatly impressed local shamans. They were more than satisfied with Wotepchu's work. Wotepchu masters "Basic Medicine" skill. + Shaman relations.

Spoiler :

Shamans were happy with Wotepchu

Stoll was also helping Shamans to treat sick and ease their suffering. He used all his will and knowledge of herbs to help, unfortunately his plant cures did not work very well (or fast enough) and when he tried to follow Wotpechus instructions how to cure people (with Wotpechus "Experimental cures"), he almost killed one person and made 3 others throw up several times a row (I am not going to describe side effects). After that event, Stoll was chased away from healing huts by an angry mob of sick warriors, who blamed him for not treating them well and doing "experimental treatments" on them wrong. Surely Stoll just messed up Wotepchu perfect instructions of how to administer(sp?) cure. Stoll lost his 0,5 follower. Stoll bag of pearls broke open during his 'tactical retreat' and he lost half of the bag contents.

All this time working as village elder thought Stoll quite a bit. He has mastered basic leadership skill and gains 25% advanced leadership.

Warchief Ugag gains 50% basic leadership. Chill Bill gains 25% basic leadership.

While some people were helping sick, Magog decided to talk with goblins to trade with them. But he did not find any (despite of the fact that two of them were spying what Gor' villagers did - but Magog did not know that yet. Then he decided to take up a bow and go hunting in forests. He did well... "decent work" ... in acting as a bait and carrier. What else could commoner with no skills expect to work as. However, this work did not teach Magog enough and Magog only learned 25% of basic skinning.

Aiken was also helping hunters to hunt. His work as a bait was excellent as were his carrying skills. No body dared to give him a proper weapon - Aiken had earned himself a reputation of not respected and "slightly stupid" orc. Despite of this, he proved himself countless of times, when he jumped into middle of wild boar heard, just to grab small pig between his "manly" arms and run for his life. He was (usually) followed by at least half of a herd and that allowed hunters to kill boars quite effectively. In the long run, Aiken gains respect (from -1 to 0) and learns 50% of basic hunting. Thanks to combined efforts, village gains 15 (quite wild) boars as livestock as well.

Spoiler :

Some of the Captured Boars look like this

Gartog attempted to find boar breeding grounds, but all he could find was that Boars live in tunnels. They emerge from tunnels during day and go back into them by nightfall. He tried to enter these tunnels, but was attacked by several boars and managed to flee. After doing His findings, he spent quite a bit time with hunters. Gartog gained respect. Gartog gained 50% advanced animal husbandry.

Gartog used his general knowledge about animals and thanks to his constant nagging, he managed to convince people to enlarge current sheep stockade. Thanks to this sheep population boomed and village of Gor gained 12 new sheep. One of the young sheep was rather weak and sick, her mother had left her for dead. Gartog felt sorry to waste a potential meal and cared for this sheep like he'd care about his own kids. Well even bit better (he did not kick or throw that young sheep as much as fathers do, you know to show that they care). Gartog gained 25% charisma. Gartog adopted himself a personal (female) sheep.

When Magog final understood that hunters are not hunting for wolves and being simple carrier, does not teach him much hunting, he left from hunting party. Instead he went into village storehouse and borrowed a shortsword and few rations of food. He then chatted with few hunters and headed into forest, alone.

How he ended up in Wolf infested area of forest and what would have forced him to do so, is unknown. It is known that when Magog returned, barely alive and with many bite-wounds and bruises. However, he did not return empty-handed. He was carrying a young wolf pup in his rations-bag (pretty brutal way) and several wolf skins. He told rather interesting story, but most clansmen did not believe him. Short summary of his story is following: "Magog went into woods and wanted to capture himslef a young Wolf pup. He managed to find wolf territories quite easly and sneak near one of their nesting den. Just before he started sneaking, he heard a great explosion coming from Gor'. Ignoring that and focusing on more important matter in hand, mogag then attmpted to hide himself. But having no knowledge in either sneaking nor hunting meant he was heard and smelled long before his figure was seen. When Mogag understood that he was noticed, he readied his sword and attacked a wolf that looked like a mother wolf. However, Magog was not that smart and he did not consider the fact that entire pack would be protecting their pups. After few minutes of fighting, He was covered with wounds and most of his opponents were still well (and alive). He was saved only by one of the local cultists - a follower of Great Bor. That follower jumped into middle of fighting area and casted some sort of spell that threw everyone around him far away. Most wolves were thrown against mountain/hill wall and one could hear their bones breaking. Mogag too was thrown against stone wall and he lost his conciousness. When he woke up, most wolves were gone as was that weird local mage. There were several orcish footprints heading North. Mogag wondered how could one villager get so powerful overnight, but as he could not find any explanation to that, he quickly discarded that thought.

After waking up and thinking those thoughts, he slaughtered wolves who were left behind (either dead or wounded) and managed to find still alive female pup. He "packed" this pup into his food bag. Mogags travel back was quite scary trip too and he was attacked by boars and wolves several times, but he made it back. Mogag gains female Wolf pup. Mogag gains 5 tanned Wolf hides. Due to wounds and broken bones, Mogag loses an action. Village loses one (med) short sword and gains (poor quality) short sword.

Spoiler :

After recovering from wounds wolf pup Mogag saved, looked like this. AWWWWWWWWWW! Does'nt it look tasty?

Chill Bill - one of the Battle of Many Broken Bones participant was sick too. So sick that he was unable to go out exploring. He was even more sick than "so sick" and his followers were sure Bill is going to die and so they did what anyone would do. They abandoned Bill and become simple commoners again. Both of them. However Bill had 3 followers so one, non ranger (forest scout) able follower remained with Chill Bill. Bill loses 2 followers and ability to train them into rangers.

Chill Bill last remaining follower attempted to study Archery, when Chill Bill was still in bed. Chill had convinced him that archery is essential skill, but was unable to crawl out of his sickbed. However, this follower was not very successful at his training... Truth to be told, he was even more clumsy than any regular orc in village of Gor' can be... so he accidently shot himself ... and that arrow landed directly into his left eye. Not a nice sight. Well truth to be told, no sight at all from his left eye. Chill Bill's follower loses an eye. Chill Bill Follower refuses to become an Archer.

Spoiler :

Guess he'll never look as awesome as that...

Shurzurn, one of the less popular immortals (but he has some reputation among builders) began lugging(OOC: I assume it means "carrying something to somewhere") wood from woodcutting camp to village. His work was highly valued, due to shortage in working hands. Infact it was valued very highly among builders and Shurzurn gained some respect among builders. Shurzurn also gained strength.

Shurzurn was not the only one who was working with builders. Aiken was also helping builders on his free time. As nobody dared to give him tools to help with building and commoners kept quite a distance from him, Aiken was given task of carrying rocks from ruins to building site. He did that quite well and gained some strenght. Aiken also found a bag containing a set of crafting tools.
Xialos young teen follower helped miners alot with enstablishing a mine, she also lobbied for Xialo and his master gained respect among miners.

Chill Bills one eyed follower was done with losing an eye, he decided that losing an eye was nothing to an orc. Wise words of his mother also helped - nature gave you spare. So this follower praticipated in boar hunt as boar bait. Clumsy as he was, he always managed to convince several "unfriendly piggies" into following him while hunters picked them off one by one. His bravery netted him a leather suit from local crafters. Chill Bill gains leather suit for one follower.

Once done carrying wood from place A to place B, Shurzurn assisted builders with their building tasks. At first he did not succeed, but he slowly picked up some simpler things. And by the end of the summer, Shurzurns skills in building and hitting nails were greatly improved. Shurzurn gains 50% of basic building.

Not every sick person decided to do everything by themselves. Gaarth was clever. He asked his followers - the lady orcs - to tell people stories of him. He even made wooden amulets to those who wished to be 'under Gaarth protection and get his advice'. Surprisingly, many orcs were interested in tutorials that Gaarth taught. What tutorials did he teach? Well, few examples would be: "how to speak with females", "What moves are good", "How to cook meat, without actually doing any cooking" and similar female-related tutorials. Soon enough Gaarth required tutorial material and local craftsmen were busy creating Gaarth tools for teaching.

Soon enough, enough orcs carried the amulet of Gaarth. However, these people are not following Gaarth directly - they awaited him to do stuff (like hold lectures) for them.

First player controled faction is created: The Leatherblades. Leatherblade consist of mainly male (commoner) orcs, there are few craftesmen also among Leatherblade faction too. OOC: How factions work is explained later. Gaarth gains leader position in faction "leatherblades". Gaarth Gains fame, Gaarth gains respect, Gaarth gains "Leatherblade amulet", Gaarth gains 25% of Basic leadership skill.

So called "Warchief" Ugag laid most of the time in sick bed, unable to walk nor talk. There were moments When he was able to walk, Some of these moments were after Ugag had had (very painful) "experimental cures" made by Wotepchu. After getting those "cures" he madly chased his wannabe-helper and tried to kill Wotepchu for several hours. Wotepchu and Shamans believe that surely this kind of irrational behaviour was effect of sickness and not caused by "experimental cures". None the less, Ugag was not able to make himself wardrums, as crafters were either too terrified to talk with him or Ugag only talked gibberish, could not walk straight and 'promised to kill everyone to get rid of fireflies'. These fruitless attempts to (force) crafters into making battle drums for Ugag, damaged his reputation among crafters. He also also lost his personal banner somewhere and he cannot recall where.

While our dear Warchief was actively improving trashing his reputation among craftsmen, Overseer Stoll decided to try his hand in crafting stuff. He managed to borrow craftsmen knife from village supplies and started actively chipping wood. After chipping few pieces of wood into "Ugags modern art"- like statues, he understood that knowing what to craft out of wood would help him improve his crafting skills. Puzzled by this thought, Stoll took a nice walk around camp. These walks were relaxing - he could scream on anyone who was not working hard enough and even beat others up for it, as he is an overseer. When Stoll passed healing hut, he heard Chill Bill hallucinate about trip he did a while ago. As clever overseer he listened to what Chill Bill was saying and soon understood that these small wooden statues are statues of Raj-Tol. So Stoll decided to borrow one, to use it as example to create more and sell them to Raj-Tol believers or caravan that was supposed to arrive. After few days of non stop crafting, a young female crafter joined Stoll and helped him to craft. Once done with the crafting, they shared small statues between eachother. By the end of Summer, Stoll had 10 wooden statues of Raj-Tol (he traded rest for better food and well "relationship" with that young crafter). Stoll gains 10 wooden statues of Raj-Tol, each valued 0,5 gold. Stoll learned basic crafting. Stoll gained 1/2 follower (young female crafter).

Spoiler :

Stoll created beautiful statues, but traded many of them away ...

While most people were too sick to do anything properly, Gurtak was more clever. Instead of actually doing anything that'd have required him to move around, he decided to chat with sick people. He was quite entertaining chatpartner and learnt quite a bit. From soldiers he listened and learned how to attack better and how to react when enemy does something weird. From chatting with commoners he learnt how to speak better and from observing what Wotepchu did, he learnt some basic herb knowledge. Gurtak learned:
25% advanced fighting, 25% charisma, 25% basic herb knowledge. Gurtak gained 1/2 follower (making his total followers number 1)

Maxwell, one of the participants of Battle of Many Broken Bones submitted his battleaxe, the Cruxbane, to be analyzed whatever its cause of the sickness or not. The moment he handed it over to one Shaman to study, shaman froze in terror. Curxbane was indeed host of great evil. Shamans immidietly began disspelling "procedures". In simple speak it means they knocked Maxwell uncouncious, tied him up and torched him with burning wooden stakes in their hut. Smell of burning flesh mixed with aromatic and intoxicating plants scent. These plants were supposed to help with disspelling. This torture was hard on Maxwell and he loses strength (strength went into minuses).

Once done with torturing saving Maxwell from great evil, the shamans placed cruxbane in the middle of the field. Field was located some distance from village and had plentiful of room to practice, however nobody was using it as most warriors and wannabe warriors were sick. Shamans placed the axe onto a gigantic rock altar and began dispelling rituals. After 5 minutes, the axe screamed like Maxwell did a while ago.

Unfortunately, the axe was not supposed to scream. The dispel had failed and the demon had escaped! However this demon did not attack shamans but was dragged into the rock instead and great crack appeared into rock. From this crack, magical energies were released and whatever was imprisoned into there took control of evil cruxbane demon ghostly form and levitated himself towards Village of Gor'. During those few seconds he traveled towards the village, the stone in the middle of the Training ground glowed with magical energies and eventually exploded, destroying entire training ground. Thankfully shamans were following this demon-shaped creature and were not hurt. They tried to cast spells and throw winterweed leaves towards moving figure, but it just ignored their attempts. A few seconds after the explosion it possessed an Orc in the village.

Well, not everyone managed to get away from explosion without a Scratch - Our first player faction leader - Orc known as Gaarth was training on battlefield in sword and shield use and was trying to help shamans kill that demon. Unfortunately he chose direct path across training field to get to the demon and was caught off guard by explosion. Gaarth survives thanks to Wotpechu (who, noticed "an oddly shaped lump flying during explosion). Gaarth survives, but suffers many wounds (and many "experimental treatments" from Wotepchu). Gaarth loses one action.

This orc was one of the few followers of Great Bor and the demon who took possession of this orc took the form of Great Bor for few seconds before entering into his new slave body. It is sure that demon mimic'ed behaviour and apperance of Great Bor quite well, in fact he copied accurate looks so well, that many believe that it was not a "demon" that possesed that orc, but Great Bor himself.

Spoiler :

Possessed creatures tend to become powerful shamans and get horrible changes in their looks (third legs, tails, spikes). On this picture you can see a normal orc

Whatever it was truly a god known as Great Bor or quite advanced and experienced demon (taking control of another demon, moving into village, taking very similar form to Great Bor, before possession and immediately being able to cast spells), is not known. A few seconds later the possessed orc magically threw shamans several meters away from him, before Shamans managed to cast trap spell on him and somehow (telepathically) convinced other 6 followers of Cult of Fog to follow him into woods. If there would have been a few more warriors patrolling, this possessed orc could have been captured, but now it is loose in the Wild and can only grow more powerful. Being able to cast spells immediately after possession means that host did not resist (believed that he was possessed by his god) and demon/godly creature is quite experienced.

Rumors spread quickly over the world of Baimora that Gor' released a godly figure that possessed one of their orcs. This caused an uproar in the Horde and many began searching Monolith stones - some to destroy them, some to release ancient gods back into world.

It seems that these "magical stones" were used back in the old days, to capture gods and imprison them, making them immobile and unable to help their followers. Imprisoning procedure itself was highly complicated and spells often backfired, killing everyone nearby. But if a god was imprisoned into these stones, they were unable to help their followers. But gods do not die until there is at least one follower left. These monoliths radiate magical energies. These energies could make people sick, possess them for short period of time (not long enough or well enough to dis-spell god) or even rise dead from the ground(undead are pathetic mages and unable to release gods from their prisons). In the long run, gods could create some followers with these possession powers and in theory make them cast spell to release themselves, but followers usually died to the sicknesses that monolith caused.

Knowing how to cast these trapping spells was one thing, but dis-spelling them was long lost art. And only very few knew how to do release gods. And now Gormadash villagers know how to dispel these monolith and release their prisoners. It also seems that goblin scout observed this behavior from far away and as a trader (goblins love to trade), goblins immediately began selling this knowledge to those who wanted it. Gor' could also sell this knowledge to those who come to the village.

Real of Baimora has only few strong gods left. But now Clan fears that "Holy Crusades" will begin again. Past several hundred years, only few great gods were left alive and they could easily defeat any new god that took a form in this world. However many religious people, whose gods were imprisoned, still exist and they are willing to sacrifice themselves so their god could walk in this realm again. And where there are many gods, there is always war and while older gods fight, new gods can gain popularity and strength again.

Horde has not made a sure decision of what to do, some claim that this knowledge has to be hidden forever and all monolith stones have to be found and destroyed. Some just want their old god(s) back. Whatever Horde decides, there is bound to be a lot of fighting inside the horde.

Well, if leave destruction of temperory training grounds aside, source of sickness was gone and most orcs showed signs of recovery.

Spoiler :

It is quite difficult to separate Monolith from usual rock. In close inspection, one can see runes glowing on monolith. However local monolith had fallen over- rune side below.

Maxwell, despite being tortured has his fame increased. All this poking, pain and demon influence(if there was any) made changes to Maxwells body. He found that scars on his body healed quite a bit faster and he was able to walk sooner than shamans, Woptechu or Stoll said. Maxwell gains minor regeneration ability.

After this ... explosive event, Ugag finally understood that he cannot convince crafters to make him battle drums, he decided to practice on training grounds. Sadly as we now know, training grounds were source of the infection and Ugag only got more sick. Adding more sickness to already sick Ugag made Ugags muscles weak and he lost some of his fine muscle strength. Ugag is now rate "weakling". He was not able to finish his practices.

We mentioned Shurzurn before - he was great help to builders. His companion attempted to help with building archery range, but managed to get shot several times when setting up archery range. Shurzurn loses 50% of followers he has. That means his follower is now only half way convinced he should follow Shurzurn, not in "two seprate halves" or disabled.. (he now has 1/2 follower, he can still give orders but orders are less effective).

Luke tried to train on the training grounds, but got more sick afer small sparring session. However Luke is not stupid and he spent rest of the season talking with more expert warriors. And he was rather successful with these chats anad managed to learn alot. Luke learned Advanced Fighting. Luke gained one follower.

Xialo was one of the few who healthy immortals. With the lack of working hands, Xialo did best he could in fishing for food, but he and the fishermen were attacked by mereman warriors. In short battle Xilao managed to throw fishing net on mereman and fishermen then stabbed it to death. Meat of mereman was quite tasty. Xialo discovered a new "fish" and its hunting methods and many more big fishes were captured, but never near their lair or more than one. Xialo was quite good at capturing and killing these fishes. Xialo masters Advanced fishing, Xialo gains 25% of Advanced fighting. This event was not enough to increase Xialo's reputation among commoners and fishermen just yet.

As Xialo soon found out that training grounds were empty he decided to train his stamina instead. So he spent most of his free time running around, delivering messages and orders to people. All this running around increased Xilaos strength aswell his reputation among commoners.

Luke attempted to rest and recover. And he attempted very hard. He attempted to recover so hard, that he grinded his teeth together as hard as he could. He focused for several minutes straingth until he collapsed from lack of oxygen. When he woke up, he focused again ... and again .. and again, until few veins bursted in his head. Cleary cause of this was constant mental pressure of Luke focusing hard and forecefully grinding his teeth together (and Wotpechus "experimental medicine" can not to be blamed as it did not work). However due to brain damage, Luke loses education point. Luke loses one Action (as he needs to recover and mend from focusing too hard).

Spoiler :

Immortal brains will recover from most things and orcish brains are more durable then human brains, however if one continues holding his breath and/or focusing too hard might end like this.

Lukes follower attempted to practice on new archery range but was well... quite succesful at hitting things... wrong things. He hit one of Shurzurns followers several times with arrows - (By the way, great and accurate hits). Of course first arrow hit Shurzurns follower by accident but others were quite on purpose, as Lukes archer-follower was thinking that the worker is there for "live target practice". Fight that happened after that 'event' was not very pretty. Luke loses his archer follower (not dead, just decided it is bad to follow Luke).

Wotepchu chose to spend his free time with shamans, discussing places and listening to conversations of shamans. He learned fast and soon surprised shamans by understanding their basic wishes before they needed to speak. All this listening and "relations improving" made Wotepchu gain more respect among shamans. Wotepchu also listened and remembered what shamans spoke, at first most of those tales made no sense to him but things slowly began falling into their place. Wotepchu gains education point. Wotepchu gains shaman respect.

In conclusion:
Everyone recovered from sickness (thanks to it's source being gone)
Training ground is no more, meaning that new one is needed before weapon skills can properly be practiced, however there is a new archery range.
A Demon or godly creature possessed a Follower of Bor and claimed to be Great Bor himself. Whatever it is true or not, is not known as that follower fled from village.
Second part (faction changes) coming on Saturday.

Update 6, part two
Factions doings

Builders

Builders managed to build 1 medium house and remodel one small house into Shamans hut. They also increased quality and size of sheep-stockade Remodelling was not that comlicated, as shamans only asked to carry their stuff from their sleeping huts to shaman huts. However carrying stuff and constant nagging utmost care took quite a bit time. 1 Medium house was converted into tannery, just as overseer asked. Sheep stockade has tripled in size and has several areas that can be used on different time of year, allowing grass to recover during that time. However as sheep and pigs need to be separate, it'd probably be smart to build pig-farm or something similar.

+ Sheep stockade quality and size, +1 medium tannery (+ extra leatherworkers area), convert one small house into shamans hut.

Hunters

Thanks to help of several stupid brave nutscakes volunteers, many boars were slaughtered and even few alive young pigs were captured. However all attempts to enter these caves ended in disaster and several hunters were knocked out for til the end of the Summer. It is now sure, that these pigs live and sleep inside a huge tunnel network and come out to eat food. They eat some sort of slimy plants inside the caves and there are many of them in caves. Construction of Tannery helped to stop leather from going bad and even increased leather gathering rates.

Trap Line
Trap lines were maintenanced only by few commoners and hunters. Due to sickness many hands were busy elsewhere and many animals died, were eaten or escaped before trap handlers finally reached to them. Due to this, production of food and leather by trap line fell by half.

+ 6 units of leather
+Some Food

Craftsmen
Craftsmen were rather busy as always – they had stuff to fix and craft, leather to take care of and plants to clean, process and much more complex stuff. Due to many sick orcs (and much thanks to Warchief Ugag “annoying” beahvior) crafters production rates fell. One reason why production rate dropped was creation of traps for fishermen. Creation of new faction of Leatherblades also made many crafters to worry, while some consider joining with Leatherblades.

Faction relations with Leatherblades decrease (-1). All Leatherblade faction members lose 1 respect.

+ 30 crafts
- 3 crafters

Fishermen
Fishermen spent a lot of time to attempt to set up fish-traps, however these traps were not very successful. As angry meremen often discovered and destroyed these traps. On the birghter side – Meremen/women had reason to be angry - they were hunted for food. These new fishing methods bought some food into village, however relations with Meremen/women faction dropped beyond repair. Food is food, but fishermen did not bring home as much food as they were used to and trap line network did not start to work very well.

Spoiler :

Smells like a fish, feels like a fish, fights back like human, tastes like fish. Fish is fish is fish.

Woodcutters
Woodcutter were hit hardest by this sickness – as woodcutter faction relies on commoners as workforce. Those few non sick commoners who were up with the task of chopping and carrying wood worked very hard but many hurt themselves during work.
-Woodcutting jobs less popular among commoners

Warriors
There is nothing much what to tell about warriors, as many of them suffered under magical plague. Village itself was practically defenseless and even raiding party of Gnolls could have caused massive damage. There was one event where undead scouts were noticed in the distance and followed by couple of hunters – Chill Bill ex-followers. Other than that, village itself was quiet.

Shamans
Shamans despelled axe belonging to Maxwell, the 'Cruxbane'. But everything did not go according to plan and dis-spell spell released wave of dark magic and an captured demon into this world. Gigantic rock in the middle of training grounds, that was used in this ritual, was actually “A Monolith”, containing inprisoned demon or a god. This god possessed demon that was released from sword and used it to reach and posses an villager and flee from village. This demon that was used as transport by stronger demon/god, is somewhere in the village.

6 villagers
+ Demon probably posessed someone or something
Training grounds

Farmers
Instead of gathering plants and tending farms like previous year, this year Overseer and village decided to cultivate new lands and build themselves chest. However as crafters were rather busy creating fish traps for fishermen, most of time and effort was focused on digging new lands. But explosion that destroyed training grounds tainted newly grown land with dark magic and nothing will grow on new lands.

Spoiler :

Explosion did not destroy open monolith stone and it could be fixed to re-capture a god, however land around it will stay unfertile for few years.

In counclusion, Farmers gathered less food than they usually did and no changes happened.
+Food

Miners
Miners enstablished a small digging outpost into mountain, however it requires more work – camp has to be surrounded with high wall and there has to be plenty of wood, before they can actually start digging (and seeing what is underground).
+ 50% Camp.

Leatherblades
Leatherblade faction created, their leader is Immortal called Gaarth. It seems This new faction is interested in leather business and they claimed part of new tannery as their area. However Overseer should confirm that they may use 1/3rd of tannery as their private meeting space. Several young crafters joined with leatherblade faction. Leatherblade faction sets goal: Control entire leather industry in Gor'. Leatherblade faction has roughly 15 members.

Animal handlers unhappy
As herds increase in size more and more people start to care for herds. These people have no faction, yet. However here and there have been few whispers about creating a new faction.

EVENTS

Help ! Rotten meat is moving!

On a bright and sunny summer day, Warriors of Gor' noticed two shadows in the distance. How long these shadows were standing there, was not known (could have been just arrived, but could have stood there for few days). Two well trained scouts were sent to check out who were these shadows. Great was their surprise, when scouts saw that shadows were standing corpses, but as scouts got nearer to these corpses, corpses began to move away from them. “The Undead”. Scouts followed these undead until they saw them go into a settlement of sorts. This settlement seemed to look like a ordinary human settlement, but all of its inhabitants were dead. However fields were cultivated and everyday life was going on in the village, with expeption that meat was eaten raw – scouts could see no fireplace or torches anywhere. They did not dare to go to near to the village, however they were not followed by undead and undead did not seem THAT hostile to them. This is bizarre as usually undead are rather hostile, 'specially when they do not have a leader.

Spoiler :

Undead seemed to be non hostile and live like normal settlers would live (not all undead were skeletons, some had flesh on their bones)

Tracks of goblin scouts noticed
Undead were not only ones who were spying on Gor', a day after explosion local hunters discovered several goblin tracks heading away from village. Soon rumors reached village of Gor that someone North of them is selling the information how to release gods and demons from their prisons – the monolith stones. It is not sure if these scouts are same goblins as before (Dim' clan).

How releasing gods from Monolith stones work
Releasing is simple, one needs to cast disspell spell and release a demon at the same time, hopefully god is fast enough to posses demon, before it kills everyone. Monolith will explode soon after god leaves. Key to this is that Possessing demons is faster than possessing living creatures and god is able to get away from monolith before it'll pull it back in. Monolith that contained a god and is not filled with god after some period of time, creates rather big explosion killing most things caught in the blast and making land unfertile for a year or two.

Bloodoak clan wants to settle new villages
Bloodoak clan has been hinting recently, that they want to settle new villages. Some think that Gor' could be gathering point for these new villagers and from here they could settle further away from old location of Bloodoak clan.

You know ... fertility statues, real-life copies of women, differently shaped objects and like :mischief:... You know, for teaching those less manly orcs how to be less brutal are more fun around women.

Creation of Leatherblade faction was based off a story. I'll explain later how factions work.

Yes, but he did not "help Mogag" on purpose, Wolves were just in his and his followers way. Where he was/is going is not known. .
