Obama May Hold 'Kenyan, Anti-Colonial' Worldview

Speaking to the National Review, Gingrich pointed to a recent Forbes article by conservative writer Dinesh D'Souza which attempted to trace the origins of Obama's personal and political philosophies.

"What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?" Gingrich asked. "That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior."

"This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president," Gingrich added.

"I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating -- none of which was true," Gingrich continues. "In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve. ... He was authentically dishonest."

"This crushes the hopes of those who thought Gingrich could bring ideas instead of smears to what the GOP was offering," said DNC Press Secretary Hari Sevugan. "He's not a reasonable man that some thought he could be. He's proven he's just like the rest of them. With a worldview shaped by the most radical and fringe elements of the Republican Party, which are more dominant with each passing day."

WOW The GOP just keep get more bat [censored] crazy. Everytime I think they couldnt do anything more insane they just have to prove me wrong.

Kenyan .....

And we wonder why 18% of Americans think Obama was born there.

So 'Kenyan, Anti-Colonial' Worldview is actually a recognized school of thought? :p

The reason 18% of people think Obama wasn't born in the US is because he never showed a certificate to the public. They may have verified it privately, but until its made public you CANNOT call these people "Stupid."

50 Years ago Kenya was ruled by Britain and naturally wanted independence, and apparently New Gingrich thinks that's bad.

Sure I can, just watch me.

Newt Gingrich was once Speaker of the House people. He has real aspirations for the White House (or did last I checked). He is taken seriously and is always gracing the airways with his lardy jowels.

He is 10x the threat Sarah Palin is. I dislike him more than any other politician I can think of off the top of my head. He is the perfect symbol of the intellectual bankruptcy of the political discussion on "that side" of the spectrum.

Can you show me W's BC or Reagan's? How about any of the Founders who became President?

That's funny because being "the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve" is exactly what Gingrich did in his career.

You can see it here, actually. According to the BBC, it is corroborated by birth notices printed in the Honolulu Advertiser and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.

Anyway, stupid people and their stupidly stupid stupidity aside, this is, um, stupid.

Yeah, I mean, what are we meant to infer from this? That anti-colonialism is bad? I thought that had been the official US policy, for, oh, around 234 years, two months and seven days. Am I missing something?

Guys, stop feeding it. Seriously. Let's get back to talking about how much of a moran Newt Gingrich is.

Newty-boy the historian seems to forget the anti-colonialism that created the United States. :mischief:
