The best thing about random maps is exploration and not knowing what lies in the darkness nor where the resources lie...this thread should be a tribute to this part of the game!


I start off with a lovely picture of the lonely mountain ;)

P.S please only post genuine random maps and to not post images which distort the shape of the page :D

watch out, kitten, there`s no flames on the mountain so Smaug might be outside, right behind your Scout!
 
Mmmmmmmmmmm. That tile to the NW of the mountain looks like a truly juicy city spot.:sheep:
 
I kinda like the way Civ3 generates random maps... Better than Civ2, that's for sure.

In my last game, I started in the middle of a HUGE jungle intermingled with mountains. A very tough starting place! I enjoyed it. And I won that game. :king:
