First :

Core 2 Duo 6300 6400 or 6600 ?
6300 = AMDX2 xxxx ?
6400 = AMDX2 xxxx ?
6600 = AMDX2 5000 ?

Second :

I want 3 Go DDR2 667 Mhz Kingmax

In fine :

I want GeForce 7900 GTX 512 Mo

P.S : I have Gothic 3 (Wonderful game, better than Oblivion !)
Civ 4 use more processor or ram ? Or Both

Because i want too use HUGE maps with no lag !

Off Topic: On the technical side, it is not. It is not very polished. But the gameplay and inmersion are far better that Oblivion. It feels more like an RPG, instead of a FPS with RPG elements.

Here are news of my PC !

I finally opted for a second Giga of RAM and a GeForce 7900 GS !

I just discovered that i set graphics options of NWN2 at their maximum !

Sid Meier's Railroads and Civilization 4 also !

I will test Gothic 3 a day !

An advice for all : don't waste more than 450 € for upgrade !

Gothic 3 > Oblivion > NWN 2

Oblivion and NWN 2 are too looking "candyland" with max visual effects...

Gothic 3 is a med-fan Fallout... Its world is darker you can choose between 3 global sides and a multiple sub-sides... You can choose the side of Rebels drived by the King, the dominating Orcs or no choose any side...

My advice is poor, i have not played enough but i know that the feedbacks are very good in general : Game immersive, varied, more difficulty but a few bugged (but the devs seemly are like Firaxis : patchs released regularly)

Oblivion = American RPG and Gothic 3 = German RPG
Two different points of view.
Oblivion survives with moduls and Gothic 3 not needs fan-addition



Problem is : find the time for play ! Because i have a degree to pass in June 2007 ...

my main problem with gothic is that Gothic 2 was very hard. I was killed regularly by wolves and bees and I had to cheat. On the other hand, Oblivion offers a difficulty level slider. Is Gothic 3 any different?

Gothic 3 has three levels of difficulty : Easy, Medium and Hard
