Whew! That took awhile. Post any comments here. :)

Good job! I've started with the storyline. I'll try to cover main events until the end of 1st term. We should decide what dates to use for statistical purposes (i.e. 4000BC - 2000 BC -1000 BC - 500 BC - 0ABCD :)). What do you think? Post here which data from which periods do you want so other people can also help.

Q: How did we get Alphabet tech?

I was wondering GA, if you should maybe group the cities into their respective provinces and list mayors and governors?

Yep, blackheart, that's a good idea - I'll include it after tonights turnchat for updated info.

Rik: I'll try to do that as well...maybe a white and pale-red backgrounds (instead of yellow).

GA I suggest to try like this:
Take certain dates, for example every 100 years after 0 year. that would be 0, 100 AD, 200 AD, 300AD, ... , 600 AD. Later on the time period will be shorter.
Avoid collecting data like you did in above post, it is too much work and is not very useful. Let the mayors do that kind of info for their cities.

Record the overall empire population, commerce and production. Then do the same for Provinces. Later on we can collect numbers for all cities if someone help with the job.
List top cities: highest pop, highest production, highest commerce.

Get the data here and we'll hire someone to make nice graphs and comparisions.

That should be enough for the start and I thinks it is not so time consuming.

So the different categories:

Empire production
Empire commerce
Empire population
(Add up all the totals from all cities)

Each Province's Production/Commerce/Population

And the top 3 cities for population, commerce, and production. Got it. :) I'll make a bar graph comparing the provinces together tomorrow after the turnchat today.

Great! I'll collect the data from Edo Province to help you. Also I'll do the same for 4000BC- 0 year because its shorter period and won't be that hard to do. We need to decide which specific years to use (I propose each 100 god from 0 AD to 700 AD) because for example we can't get 600 AD - We have only 610 AD save but thats good enough anyway.
I'll try to find these saves and post correct dates here.

These are the dates (and savegames) that I found so far for latest period of the game:
170 AD
310 AD
410 AD
500 AD*
550 AD* (GA period)
610 AD*
710 AD

(*means Golden Age- we should find saves every 5 turns during GA - I think here is missing save from around 450 AD)

I didn't have enough time to search the forums completely. I suggest we stick to these dates in order to coordinate our data. Add dates from other periods too (or I will later, can't make it in time now).

And we could keep the table format something like this:
example.JPG

Again, I made this table in a hurry, change the colors, borders, font etc. as you find it best. But the point is to get those data in the time frames I mentioned above.
And please report here any changes you are going to make so I (and others) can follow them :).

Yeah, I'll try that tonight - I started an excel sheet. I'll just take the saves from the turnchats onwards, and do you want to do saves from turnchats that have already being done? :)

Yes, I would like to collect data from older TCs. It won't be so hard because we had smaller empire and time periods are much longer.
I'll collect data on production/commerce/population as in the table I posted (and top 3 cities), if you decide we could do something else PM me or post here.

Follow and collect data from these dates please. Saves can easily be found in TC threads in Democracy forum.

I'll do the entire BC period, and Edo province in AD years. You get the rest and don't forget Roman cities :) (make them as special 'province').

Well, for now I'm just going to get the current turnchat's save - then I'll work my way up from 10 AD using the format of production/commerce/population for our empire and individual provinces so we can see which ones are the best for production, etc. :)

invy, for now, I'm just going to stick to curent turnchat threads - getting one of these reports is enough for me every 4 days. If you still want to get past turnchat info, that's fine, but I'll just be getting current data :)

Statistics Update for 710 AD

Conclusion: Edo and Zarnia provinces are our strongest ones, and two of the least corrupted provinces. :)

(I am open for comments about the new style of stats - Rik, does this graphic look better than just data? I hope so!!)

Here's info for Edo province:

Excel file: http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads8/edo_his.zip

GA could you please make some graphs (pop, prod, commerce) from these data. I'll try myself but I'm not very skilled with it.

I am working currenty on BC era data and will post it as this table too...

How do you get one column above two? (like you have 1 column for production, then it splits into two for used and total?) I'll look at the save tonight, and make some graphs of the current data. :)

There are actually 6 columuns in above table. You select cells you want (in my table: 2, corrupted and uncorrupted cells for pop/prod/comm) and merge it into one (icon in excel looks like: <-a->).

Take a look at .xls file...
