This is my first creation for Civ in almost a year! I'm glad to finally be back. Here I have an era splash and 5 variants of it. It could be for Oil Age, Industrial Age, Modern Age or a whole host of things. I decided to make it as I was thinking about the Oil Refineries in Corpus Christi and how sometimes they had a sad feeling and other times I liked them.

    Enjoy :)

    Standard Version
This is the baisc Picture, without modifications

    "A New Day"
This is a more uplifting version, representing the great possibilites that Oil and the Modern Age have for us.

    "Cloudy"
A soft Charkcoal and Chalk variant.

    "A Child's Dream"
I named it like that because when I was younger I used to draw like that places I saw, often places with an emotional importantce.

    Water Color
    A Water color variant.

    "Dark"
In this one I hoped to convey the disparity, depravity and other factors involved with the Industraliazation of the World.

Its nice to be back :D

Zip 1 has: Standard Version, A Child's dream and A New Day
Zip 2 has: Cloudy and Watercolor
    Zip 3 has: Dark

Very nice job, I like how you made different versions, :). One thing though; maybe try to use dithering when you reduce the amount of colors to 256, if your paint program supports it. It can avoid the choppy colors of the sky. Good job!

BTW, it's kind of hard to image a factory as "uplifing", :crazyeye:

 Wow. You've just redefined how I think about Splashes.

    Gracias,

    Thanks for the posisitve feedback.
@odin: True but the choppy sky is the Civ look.

Also For some reason the images are not appearing right now...grrr...I am not sure why but luckily the zip stays intact.
