Okami, is it as good as reviewers will have it? I want a new game for my ps3 but i've played all the ps3 titles that appeals to me. Which isnt more than a handful really. So i've ordered ps2 game Okami which seems very cool. But i wont get it in a couple of weeks since nobody seem to have it in stock.
So in the meantime, how about some takes on the game from my trusted forum? :sheep:

If you like The Legend of Zelda games you'll like Ōkami. I liked it and played it through once (I think it was 60 hours). Haven't played it since because I'm waiting for the Wii version to come out. Some people complained that the game is too long and that the last two thirds of the game should be removed, but I found the game too short.

If it's singleplayer, especially for a console (no mods), then don't complain about it being too long, (unless it is replayable at least a few times if not more). Otherwise you'll have spent $60 or whatever for a game you'll only play once.

Completing the game once unlocks a bunch of things, like a new game mode, a gallery and the ability to play as different dog breeds. There's also beeds scattered across the game that are hard to find.
