Okay, it's now Friday - Where are the mod tools?

Wasn't it on Tuesday or Wednesday they said the mod tools will be released in "a day or two"?

I know they have bugs and issues they need to work out, and may even have bigger problems to solve with non-mod related issues, but I'm hoping we get the mod tools before the weekend.

I really want to spend my weekend enjoying the mod tools.

So, any news on this matter?

Um ... where did you get that from? All statements from official sources I've seen where in the multiple (as in more than two) months range. (Sorry.)

I just want to be able to make the mod packages. I've got the code, just can't implement it.

Us XML coders need that ModBuddy thingy. As I understand it, this is already available to beta people. No reason they should wait too long to release it.

Dang. The game is kind of fun, but I'm a single-player cheating turtler. I want to make my "Atlantis" scenario (i.e., a small empire isolated on an idyllic and prosperous island, able to be isolationist and a builder...).

SDK will contain a debugger (Tuner),a map editor (worldbuilder),an IDE (Mod Buddy),an image file import program (Nexus) and many other things
