old gameshark question....

i have a V3.3 Gameshark Pro for the Nintendo 64 video game system. Whenever i plug it in to my N64 to use it on a game (such as Majora's Mask) it never loads. The number appears in the screen on the gameshark but never counts down and loads. WHY IS IT DOING THIS? Are there any people on this forum who know how to fix this problem or know of a place to go to get it fixed or buy a new one (preferably under $5)??? Its REALLY ticking me off!!!

Sounds like the unit is defective. I'd suggest looking on ebay. Those things aren't very reliable, my brother got one and it constantly casued the games to crash.

I used to own a N64 gameshark, until it messed up...

For certain games, they need to have a 'must be on' cheat, sometimes labelled as (M). Do you have that cheat turned on for Majora's Mask?

ebay is probably who i will turn to......or maybe ill just throw it away and focus on my gamecube and my PC.

yes it is kind of the action replay for older systems; the prequel you could say.
