Mohawk Games has today revealed the next upcoming DLC for Old World, this time titled "Wrath Of Gods".
This DLC will come with Aksum as a new civ, will introduce 9 different natural disasters to the game, a new scenario and more than 200 new events.
The expected release date is March 3 2025.

I'm really intrigued by the scenario as well as Aksum.

At this point, I'm slightly cautious about extra mechanics for a base game that seems close to perfect right now. Of course, I can always disable the expansions, but I keep forgetting because that option is hidden at the end of a very rich setup menu. ;)

I have faith in Soren Johnson though! He is such a reflected and thorough game designer. Having said that, the game is close to perfect and don't really need anything. However... I'm getting this! :)

only recently played this game and its quite playable. its needs a new world dlc and future eras which would make it alot beter than civ 6. but i suspect there would be a conflict of interest with 2k so i wont hold my breath.

As a matter of personal preference, a new world and futures eras would make no sense at all to me in this game.

"New World" would, of course, be a fine title for any game set in the exploration era, but after "Off World" and "Old World", I'd put my money on "Odd World". :)

what i meant by new world is the discovery of the americas and the era of muskets, cannons and frigates. kind of old world meets new world. the game wouldnt loose its name.
