hello, been trying to solve this little problem for some hours now. maybe one of you guys has a solution.
I am trying to take screenshots of a game (UFO: Extraterrestrials from 2007) but the game only reacts to the print key by copying the onscreen data as a bmp to the clipboard and overwriting the previous copy of a screenshot of the same game or rather anything that has been there before. there is no save screen to folder /X option and really no take screenshot function built into the game by itself.
this means I can only ever have one screenshot in my clipboard unless I tab out of the game, name and save the screenshot somewhere before I take the next one which is exceedingly tedious and unpractical given the nature of the game.
normally this would not be a problem but I am trying to get a narrative going for which I have to take constant screenshots for a Let's Play or After Action Report. using fraps would be a last resort, I suppose, but the nature of the game dictates humongous files I fear.
any easy solution occur to you?
