On the use of Foreign Language

Has anyone ever actually been penalized for this? I mean I've done this for a while - even had a conlang back in NES - and never gotten any trouble for it. I thought this rule was more meant to avoid people putting entire posts outside of the realm of moderation/discussion, honestly.

Not sarcasm, would be good for reference elsewhere, in the dubious event I actually post in another subforum any time soon.

It has literally never been an issue at any point in six years.

I've actually been infracted for that. I was on the Civ3 forum and the guy who was talking didn't speak English too well so I posted in Mandarin. The mod did not like that.
