One of the few remaining credible climate change skeptics changes views

I always amazed at how big climate change and global warming threads can get without really containing any science.

Science is great. It allowed us to see the threat coming and gives us some idea of what the solutions are. Science is just sometimes bad at being persuasive enough to get people to follow through on the solutions.

The average combined global land and ocean surface temperature for June 2012 was 0.63°C (1.13°F) above the 20th century average of 15.5°C (59.9°F). This is the fourth warmest June since records began in 1880.

The January–June worldwide land surface temperature was 0.87°C (1.57°F ) above the 20th century average, marking the sixth warmest such period on record.

The global ocean surface temperature for the year to date was 0.39°C (0.70°F) above average and ranked as the 12th warmest such period on record. This was the warmest monthly departure from average since August 2010.
