That's easy, then, an infinite number of wishes, and then omnipotence (which is essentially giving me an infinite number of wishes twice ;)).

Omnipotence. That way I could find all the Genies in the world and get all the wishes I wanted. Plus the Omnipotence part wouldn't be half bad either.

I chose to have an infinite amount of wish, to be used at my disscression with no string attached.

    DUH!

Well, immortality would be a great one, but frankly the genies always have evil interpretations of that. Shapeshifting ability would rock. Teleportation would be next on the list. Perhaps omnipotence to round out the choices.

Shapeshifting = liquidity. Teleportation = Quantum Particle. The genies can make anything bad if you want to. I'm sure you don't want to turn into a conscious liquid or Quantum particle. ;)

That is true, but at least you're not explicitly doomed to whatever tortuous existence the genie has come up with for eternity...

Well, I guess I'll go with something different then the standard wishes.

I'd like to be able to stick to my long term goals! Maybe today will be the day that I start.

I'd like to be French for a day. Just so I could be cultured and sophisticated for a short while ;) Of course, the genie will put me on a planet where a day lasts for sixty years :) So, I would wish for no wish.

To always feel good and be able to control myself and my reality (other people, objects, etc.) absolutely (like being able to teleport my girlfriend 1000 miles to my room in Florida at will).

Wouldn't that get kind of tedious after a few thousand years?

I'm going to have to go with rmsharpe on this one and wish for a great bucketload of cash. Somewhere in the neighbourhood of $2 billion. I'd just deposit half of it in a nice high interest account, and never have to worry about anything ever again, as I'd be living off a cool $2 million per year interest.

Narz, I am going to tell you this after a few thousand years, or at least some of your children. :)

Maybe... you have a point. But would this not shed a quite negative light on life itself? That you can say after 100 years or so "life was good, but now it is boring... repetitive... stupid".

    One wish?
    Tricky.
I wouldn't want to mess with anybody's emotions so none of that happiness stuff.
Even world peace seems a bit complicated.
I think I'd have to be selfish and want something for me.
    Three Billion Euros?
For me to look like Shakira?
I think I'll take the money.

I see life as genrally pretty good but I suppose I'm too curious about what's next to want to hang out forever. Also, I figure it would be hard to see generations of loved ones dying while you remained still alive. Lying in the sun feels great but if you stayed in the sun for eight hours straight you might want to try something new (like shade), I guess that's how I feel about life.

I figure I'll be ready to pack my bags around 2100. :)
