If it is about that achievement, I think it is more that trees are barely visable. Like I always forget trees exist....

Just wondering do they add production to city if you cut them though (now we talking about them anyway)

Yep, 20 industry (both woodland and forest). It takes a unit 4 turns to chop.

Not sure if it's worth prioritizing but I figure it's a good use for those extra scouts at the beginning or idle units if you're ever at peace. Chop anything that won't become an industry exploitation.

I haven't played to the point where pollution is a problem but I'm sure this won't have any negative effects.

Hahaha well said! I just chopped some today and it’s good know the value is 20. Definitely will get on that earlier next game!

Production is so trivial to come by that I don't see the point in chopping trees at all.
